  1. I hope that he can forge his way ahead, Danjuma has done little to impress me so far, granted little chance, but it seems the same wherever he goes, and given our financial restrictions, Lewis could be ideal, not to mention a home grown talent, which the Goodison faithful love.
  2. I’d like to see him get more game time progressively during the rest of the season.
  3. Nice to see a bit of recognition for the good things we do. We always take a couple of bags of food to the game, I get my son to carry one of the bags, it helps to keep him grounded and help less fortunate people.
  4. We’ve played 4 games since the points deduction was applied, I don’t think anyone predicted or even hoped we would be 4 points above the drop zone in such a short space of games. Theres no way we would have done the same 12 months ago, and while the football is a bit hoof ball at times, which is necessary and a safety first approach, we are also playing some really nice stuff. I hope Dyche can keep the momentum and the players stay fit or don’t burn out. As things stand he must be the front runner for manager of the month.
  5. Close but not quite close enough, but not arsed as we won
  6. Thanks for the link to that form MileO. I’ve only just had chance to read it after travelling early yesterday morning. it makes Toffetalk look like a literary festival, I wonder if they feel the pain as they drag their knuckles on the ground whilst walking about
  7. Give us the link so we can all see it please
  8. Me too, it’s incredible how you get caught up in the moment, I’d forgotten the build up completely in my enjoyment and delight. Being in the crowd last night was wonderful, we’ve had so many “if only” games recently. Bring on Chelsea, they will not be looking forward to coming to Goodison on Sunday.
  9. Branthwaite such a composed head on young shoulders. Myko brilliant once again. Actually everyone
  10. Threadbare Squad beginning to show, Onana and Garner out leaves us with no experienced cover.
  11. Agreed, it will take us out the bottom 3, and be a real moral booster.
  12. Improvement definitely needed across all aspects of his game ATM.
  13. Great finish to win all 3 points, so I can forgive him for being so one dimensional, learn to use your right foot please!
  14. Having settled down and slept, I don’t think we should ignore how important that win was for us, not only will it give the players the boost in confidence and faith in themselves that they can overcome the points deduction, it will have caused concern in the clubs around us, they will have seen that we’re not the basket case we were this time last season and any glimmer of hope they may have had thinking we will be in the bottom three will have disappeared. 2 tough home games in quick succession where we can get 6 points and get out of the bottom 3.
  15. Garner really good game today, popped up everywhere.
  16. Brilliant, he’s been brilliant at Villa and would be a great asset here.
  17. Was going to say exactly the same !
  18. copied form the response to Andy Burnhams letter Instead, the letter argues, the league’s recommendation on a possible sanction (believed to be 12 points in total) was a one-off calculation based on the known elements of the case, and formed part of a standard process. So a one off calculation indicates to me they are making things up as they go along.
