  1. Don't know if Walcott is fit or not, but I'd like to see him in there if he's recovered. PickfordColeman Keane Mina BainesWalcott Schneiderlin Iwobi BernardDCL Tosun
  2. Great stuff. That was such a well deserved hard fought point from Old Trafford. I expected nothing from our December fixtures, and now we already have four at the mid-point of the month. Brilliant.
  3. Wasn't a happy lad being substituted against United after only coming on 20 minutes earlier. To be honest he had put in a few rash tackles, so maybe big Dunc feared, if he continued like that, Kean would be sent off... which is something our manager knows a thing or two about.
  4. I felt it was a poor decision to play Digne against Man Utd today and was surprised to see him in the starting 11 if I'm honest. Even the mildest of groin injuries can flare up again fairly easily with a bit of an over stretch to block through a ball, etc. Mind you, it was nice to see Baines rolling back the years and pushing forward now and then. Just hope Digne gets rested properly and comes back fully fit and prepared for us.
  5. Really put himself about chasing, harassing, and bullying the Man Utd defence all game today. Got back into our area to make clearances, and ends the game doing a job in midfield. Not bad for the few shillings we paid for the lad.
  6. Had Kean took a swing at Ferguson when he came off, I would have given it to him but, joking aside, the MotM has to be Dominic Calvert-Lewin for me. He really put a shift in and let the Man Utd defence know they were not going to get an easy ride. Such a versatile player for us. Special mention to Mason Holgate; did well in midfield.
  7. Great performance from the lad against Chelsea. None stop from start to finish; just what we want.
  8. Hope his injury isn't serious; looked to be a groin strain. We have a full week until our next game, so hopefully that will be enough time for him to recover.
  9. Well Dominic Calvert-Lewin gets MotM for me, but have to give Morgan Schneiderlin a mention; that was definitely one of his better performances.
  10. Everton 2 Chelsea 2 Dominic Calvert-Lewin
  11. We'll win this nil-one. Score in the first five minutes and hold for dear life whilst we are bombarded with wave after wave of Liverpool attacks. Pickford Sidibé Mina Holgate Digne Davies Delph Iwobi Walcott Bernard Tosun
  12. No idea if Bernard and/or Delph will be fit and in contention. Should be quite a fast paced game, and I can see Sidibé getting caught out a bit and leaving the back exposed. Doubt we'll get anything from this one other than a consolation goal in 90th minute. Pickford Sidibé Mina Holgate Digne Davies Sigurdsson Iwobi Walcott Richarlison Tosun
  13. I have no idea who we could bring in, I'm just hoping we don't turn to Mark Hughes.
  14. Let's be honest, Morgan Schneiderlin is a footballer who has said he felt that he may have been too hasty in leaving Man Utd for Everton, plays for a Manager who didn't sign him, puts in lacklustre performances, and looks like he doesn't want to be here. He's given all that he's prepared to give, and we are not going to get any more out of him than what we are getting. We should have cut our losses and got rid after that incident when he and Mirallas were giggling away like schoolchildren at some event or other, and Duncan Ferguson took them to task. Sad thing is, I'm pretty sure his contract doesn't run out until around June 2021. So if we can't get rid before then, I feel he should be benched with label stuck to him stating: 'Use Only In Extreme Emergencies'.
  15. I thought Tom Davies was motm. Gave a very hard working and positive performance.
  16. Cheers mate, I didn't realise that. Pretty much like you've said, hopefully he'll knuckle down now and get on with doing his job.
  17. Is it? I thought it was two occasions. First one, I would assume he got a ticking off. The second time, he was dropped from the squad; which I would hope is the wake up call he needs and and will sink in with the lad. So are you saying there were three occasions and not two? Or have I misunderstood your reply?
  18. Kean late for the team meeting but apologised to all concerned. Unless it becomes a regular thing and he starts to take the piss, then that should be an end to the matter and attention should focus on his development and getting him in the team.
  19. I think this will be another hard fought victory for the Blue Boys. If we can get a decent first-half lead we might see Kean introduced for the second-half, if he remembers to set his alarm that is.
