  1. Went with Jonjoe Kenny, although Idrissa Gana Gueye did have a very good game. I thought it would difficult for JJk considering our run of bad form, but he did well. He had no problem getting forward to support the attack, got a few crosses into the box, and hit the woodwork with a shot. Obviously, being fresh helped him a lot.
  2. Would be nice to see him get a few minutes against Brighton, and receive a very loud and warm welcome back from the traveling Blues. Hopefully he can put his terrible spell of injuries behind him and concentrate on playing football, either with us or elsewhere. Best of luck to him wherever he ends up.
  3. Best of luck to him. Hope he can do the business for Sheffield United, and come back to us a better player.
  4. It wouldn't surprise me if we do very little, if any business, during the January window. Maybe loan one or two players out, but pretty much stick with what we have until the Summer.
  5. Obviously I hope I'm wrong, but I can see us struggling with this one. Brighton 1 Everton 1
  6. Really like this fella, but doubt we'll see the best of him until next season. The lad's going to be a handful for many a defence to deal with.
  7. Thought his goal against Burnley was excellent today. It was a great build up and finish, but it did annoy me to see him pick up a silly yellow for taking his shirt off and over celebrating. I could understand it if he had scored the winner in a tight Derby game or something, but not the fifth goal in a five one win.
  8. Going with Bernard. Thought he had a really good game and, despite taking a couple of knocks, played on and wouldn't allow himself to be bullied out of the game. Just hope he can push on and start showing some consistency now.
  9. Never thought I'd be saying this about facing a club in the bottom three this season because it should be a given, but this is a winnable game for us. We're looking at a team going through a bit of a bad patch and showing a bit of poor form, confidence is a little low and they are easily rattled... anyway that's enough about Everton. I see this either being a boring nil nil draw or a hectic three four win for us. I am hoping for the latter, of course.
