  1. Well, that was embarrassing. When did we turn into mid 1980's Wimbledon ffs? Not seen so many long balls hoofed upfield.
  2. Just seen the score. Bloody hell, that really was some comeback.
  3. Now we've got Man City out of the way it's time to start another unbeaten run of Premier League games. We have three hard/awkward, but winnable, games this month; nine points are there for the taking, but it's not going to be a stroll in the park. Let's get the ball rolling against Brighton. Pickford Coleman Mina Holgate Baines Sidibé Walcott Sigurdsson Digne Kean DCL
  4. Everton 2 Brighton 0 Dominic Calvert-Lewin
  5. We've got this. Just a case of sitting back and letting them come at us, then catching them out on the counter-attack, albeit a very slow and somewhat relaxed counter-attack. Will be a well earned Two-Three win for Everton... then we'll get knocked out in the next round by Birmingham City. Pickford Sidibé Mina Holgate Digne Schneiderlin Sigurdsson Davies Niasse Tosun Kean
  6. Come On Everton... and all that type of thing. Pickford Coleman Mina Holgate Baines Sidibé Walcott Delph Bernard DCL Tosun
  7. Going with Djibril Sidibé for MoM. The guy was relentless.
  8. This is a winnable game for both us and Newcastle. Hopefully Sigurdsson can build on the decent performance he put in against Burnley and we pick up another three points. Pickford Coleman Holgate Mina Digne Sidibé Sigurdsson Delph Bernard DCL Richarlison
  9. Oddly enough I'm feeling less optimistic than I would if Ferguson was in charge, but still think we will win. Let's do it blues! Pickford Sidibé Mina Holgate Baines Richarlison Delph Sigurdsson Bernard Tosun Niasse
  10. I read somewhere that it was a £11.5m a year deal. Mind you, there are going to be a lot of these type of reports going about. No doubt he'll get the nickname... "Cashalotti".
  11. Wonder who Ancelottis' first signing will be?
  12. Not sure, but thinking about it he was wearings stockings and suspenders, and a leopard print G-String
  13. What a versatile player Holgate is. The fact that he doesn't look out of place in the midfield speaks volumes about his ability. If he's handled correctly I can see him going on to be a top player... hopefully for us.
  14. Felt sorry for Iwobi against Leicester. Personally I think that's the worse I've seen him play, and the more frustrated he became with himself, the worse he got. Thinking ahead to the Arsenal game, I just hope he doesn't lose focus on Saturday by trying too hard against his former club.
  15. Oddly my mind went blank trying to think of candidates, although Leighton Baines does stand out for me. Always loved watching his attacking link up play with Steven Pienaar.
  16. Went for Leighton Baines due to him pretty much having to cover for Mina and Keane who weren't exactly at the races. Made some essential blocks. Thought Davies did ok in spurts but lost the ball a few times in key areas. The lad is looking good though, and improving all the time.
  17. Thought he did ok when he came on against Leicester. It actually looked like the penny had dropped with him, time will tell of course. Not sure if it's just me, but does anyone else feel he's a little out of condition? It may have been the stream I watched the game on, but Kean looked to have a huge ass. I know that may sound a little odd.
  18. No doubt they'll be thinking the same about us with our defence
  19. Not sure who will be fit for this game, to be honest. I would like to see us go with Dominic and Cenk upfront with Richy on the R/Wing. I know he doesn't do his best work in that that position, but I feel Iwobi is better in the middle. At the risk of sounding 'cocky', I think we'll win this... that's jinx it. COYB! Pickford Coleman Holgate Mina Baines Richarlison Davies Iwobi Bernard DLC Tosun
  20. Well it was certainly an eventful game. A massive positive for me was the fact that we didn't crumble after the second goal and end up shipping 5 or 6. I think it would've have been a different story had Silva still been in charge. There is plenty of fight in that team, which is something they've not shown much of prior to the last 3 games. Those two missed headed chance from Mina were unbelievable. The second one especially... it looked like all he had to do was fall forward and he would have scored. The pens, the pens, the pens. Baines was definitely the one person you'd expect to score their pen; you could see how furious he was with himself by his reaction after it was saved. Credit to Tosun for stepping up to take one, but ffs I think any of us would've stood a good chance of saving his pen. Disappointed, but not disheartened... bring on Arsenal. Now that's something I'd never expected myself to say.
  21. Cheers mate, I'll edit my post accordingly.
