  1. Hilarious this, imagine the father and son ego boom in the Ince household right now... should have had a pint in Heswall this weekend, no doubt Dad and Lad would have been out lording it on their mobile phones with a cheeky bottle of chardonnay resting in an ice bucket. Anything that can get Fat head Ince off our TV screens would please me no end,
  2. The one thing we can offer him above our rivals is a guaranteed start in his favoured central position. He would be an awesome partner for McCarthy.
  3. A 27 year old Nigerian... Its a bit like buying a pint of lager from Wetherspoons, you always have the worry that its past its sell by date and you end up with bad guts.
  4. Sorry to hear your news DK, thoughts are with you.
  5. I also think Europa is best chance of champions league. Next year Liverpool will be fighting for 3rd and 4th with arsenal and man United. 1 & 2 between city and Chelsea.
  6. I think this has legs, I really hope so too. Absolutely ideal player for us, versatile, gritty, with experience. I remember watching him in a golf tournament on sky, he's a gnarly fucker, he wouldn't concede 2ft putts to his opponent, giving him a right time of it. Basically he's someone who doesn't do losing. We need characters like him. I would partner him with McCarthy, potentially brilliant.
  7. The thing that pisses me off is that you don't see "Chelsea line up John Flanagan in £10m bid", they still see us as easy pickings. I want Martinez to give them a message. A clear Fuck off! Message.
  8. I think getting the loan deals done immediately is a great bargaining too in the transfer market. If other clubs see that we have more options available to us, they can't hold us to ransom as easy. Having 2-3 loan players in can give us an air of mystery about what we need. I do however expect a marquee signing to be done as thefirst transfer and that must be a striker. It can make other clubs feel as though we have spent our money and less likely to milk us, attract other players etc etc.
  9. If it was the Columbian fa, they would take a contract out on him. He's a very nice David Moyes.
  10. Tom hopkinson, Sunday people, daily express ex journo. Fuckin nugget. These southern based media knob heads get right on my tits. £12m wouldn't pay for a future England captain. Treble it and even then you will be getting told to Fuck off.
  11. Hope Hull win. Not arsed about extra qualifying game, replaces friendlies. Can't stand arsenal fans.
  12. The beauty of being shite at man United is that you normally get another £50k a week contract at somewhere like Sunderland, west brom, before the world realises how shit you really were. Be shit at Everton and it's off to the championship on £8k a week.
  13. Let's be honest though, tactically it was fucking abysmal. Stick a non jockey on a race horse and the horse will Fuck that person off pronto. The person needs to at least know how to get on the horse properly. To a non football fan, moyes looked like a bloke who was winging it. I hope at least a few of the United players had the balls to confront moyes with his tactics. Neville changing his phone number was pathetic. They were a group of title winners, not children. Treat adults like children and they will revert to child like behaviour. Ideally I hope moyes looks at his time at United, sees how Martinez has had us perform and realises that he should have done more at Everton.
  14. What I seen I didn't like but let's give him more than 70 minutes. If it was down to judgement below 90 minutes in an Everton shirt then I would be led to believe that Kone and Lacina are imposters pretending to be footballers.
  15. Most united fans say get rid for £5-£8m, £5m may be the magic number and no doubt come off what they owe for fellaini. The lad needs a bit of TLC and building up like Ross did at the start of last season. At Everton we look after our own, we don't hang them out to dry. Which is why I am always reminding myself to go easy on players. Look at what happens when you give players that level of support, Naismith, Gibson, Arteta, Pienaar, all came to our club supposed shells of the players they once were... I think the only player I've genuinely disliked in an Everton shirt was Phil Neville... mainly because I never subscribed to him being Captain Fantastic - Super Professional - Genuine all round good egg who brought an element of Man United superioritry to the club.
  16. Lets be honest, I was never convinced... AT ALL. The £4m he was potentially worth if we had offered him a written contract was a windfall that we missed out on. In fairness to him, I think he has maximised his earning potential doing what he has done. He earned £8k a week, we offered him £15k, and Newcastle trumped us with £25k a week over 4 years. Over £5m earned in wages. Its hilarious that Newcastle thought they were getting some wonder kid at the time.
  17. Wilshire - hasn't done a thing in a long time. Lets just say that by all accounts he has thrown his talent away... I would have Barkley in a heart beat over him, wilshire spends half his time on the floor whinging when he has been muscled off the ball. Shaw over Baines? - Baines is quick enough, has a tremendous engine and is experienced. Shaw is still very raw IMO. Other than that I agree.
  18. I'm hopeful we don't sign him now. Its clear that the money is going to blow a substantial amount of our budget, and taking everything into consideration:- age, goals, stature etc I do not feel that we are yet in the position to spend £20m on potential. Lets look at it another way... if he had the "potential" to be as good as we hope for £20m, Man City would snap him up, Chelsea wouldn't be looking to sell, Barca would look to buy, Milan, PSG etc would be all over it - they aren't though. I think alot of fans want him because "he would sign for us" - and usually we fall short in convincing such targets to sign for us. Its a tricky one...
  19. yeah i've been unfussed on him. Looks to have tremendous athleticism though and I see him being a big player next season.
  20. Eden reckons his brother has more ability than he does.....
  21. Most of them can't even fuckin read. That said, Wtf is he doing reading that in view of the people he's being judged by? Naive
  22. Let's be honest, Jack Wilshire is in a similar bracket. Two young lads with far too much expectation placed on their shoulders. I repeat again, no footballer especially a lad should have to endure what cleverly has had to. I firmly believe that he will blossom under Martinez. He's a touch footballer and needs to play in the right set up. there were examples of how the United team were set up last year and it was like Tranmere. Older players passing the buck, so the fans end up picking on cleverly. What a bunch of horrible pricks.
  23. In my mind we will have to make our most expensive signing first - play skint and then "hopefully" any other transfers will be a case of "I didnt realise they had that much" -
