He said that when Mourinho walks out, he and a couple of his mates had been talking about who they would like to replace him. He said, that Moyes had come top of their wants list!!!!! howard/wessels hibbert lescott yobo baines arteta gravesen jags pienaar yak AJ sorted,should be an easy 3 or 4 nil win,anything less is a shambles If it's going to be that easy!.....why not rest one of the central defenders and play Stubbs.....also maybe try inform McFadden up with Yak, and have AJ on the bench as cover.

Jagielka played well on Saturday Reports from the Man Utd game by anyone other than a Blue, seem to suggest that Jagielka looked not quite prem quality!...I'm hoping that's not correct,and that there typical footbal reporters(Twats).. SO Midfield?........Think you need to build around Arteta,Gravesen,Cahill....and Jagielka (if he can cut it)........Carsley can still do a job, and Osman can maybe find a goal from somewhere.....Piennar, the jury's still out! Neville's good cover for a couple of positions. To the team that matched Man Utd......add a FULLY fit Yakubu.....Jagielka and Baines a few more games with the team....PLUS get back two of our best players Cahill and Vaughan.. That will be a good squad.

I'd say that with the form McFadden is showing, ie his late effort at Reading(hit the bar) his Scotland form and even his little late show yesterday, then surely we need to let him start a game....just to see!Shit he may be ready to hit top form....could happen.

Quite obvious from reading a few reports that we need a player like Gravesen in the team!......Well if he can stay fit/get fit we will soon have one.Cahill too is probably missed more than we know. Early days for the Yakubu AJ partnership and Jagielka,Baines and Piennar are still settling in. Were going to be hard to beat......just got to start creating and scoring, then we'll be up and running. A clean sheet and a few goals against european opponents this week, may well be a big boost.......here's hoping!

why the fuck has he droped pienarr and why the hell is tony hibbert playin Because he's the boss!......Obviously thinks Osmans got a goal or two in him! and Hibbert will get his head sorted. Hibbert's a funny player,at his best pretty dam good.....BUT prone to silly mistakes. Puts me in the mind of Carregher a few years back!It's only the last 3/4 years he's been at the top of his game......used to be very average....Hibbert could develop his game the same way.But for that he needs games. Moyes sees them every day.....in a couple of hours, were going to know if he got it right!

I dont no if you have notised but Cahill likes a tackle or two Yeh sure!......But have you noticed,that Cahill often plays for the foul! ie looking to get a free kick from any heavy challange.Maybe a free kick is a handy thing to get, but if not given the opponent is away with the ball while Cahill has his arms up shouting at the ref!.......OK not every time, but it does happen. I'd rather see him out of the heavy action, ready to create/hurt the opposition, when he get's the ball.That's where Carsley at his best was good win and release, nothing fancy. Every team needs one or two of those. Cahill's got a good football brain.....you don't need one of them for a 50/50 tackle with an oncoming nutter....in fact it probably helps not to have one.Of course it would be nice to find players who could do the lot, win and create.I think Fernandes at his best would have been like that....and of course Captain fantastic Gerrard. We wouldn't want to see Arteta getting those big tackles every 5 minutes or so! Gravesen could be that type of player, probably the closest thing we've got to one. Jagielka could maybe do it.....but it's a hard role to fill!

Poor start to the season for Man Utd by their stsndards!......They wont fancy todays trip to Goodison.Lose today and that poor start will look even worse. In a word"pressure"......that in it's self could help us. How Yakubu plays will be key!That's why we paid so much for him. I think Rafa's been taken over by Alex Ferguson's spirit this season because all he's done is moan so far. He's got the strongest squad he's had at Liverpool this season so you'd think he'd be a bit happier. Every club gets stupid kick off times throughout the season, not just the shite. McFadden is a luxery player, the sort of player who can score out of nothing, a very good squad player.Thing is he probably wont start most games while AJ's fit and Yakubu's looking ok! If he keeps up his current form come Jan transfer window someone may make an offer. I would like him to stay....but will he be happy on the bench whilst being Scotlands hero? Could be great in the european campaign with it perhaps being less physical! and we need the numbers.This season could be a turning point for him. Can he play along side Yakubu?.......Take a big lead into the second leg of the european match and it could be worth a look. He has scored with his head...against Blackburn I think.Probably not much worse than AJ at heading.

Think this is a thread for where your going on holiday! Little story of last years holiday!!! Wife and I and our two children were off to Corfu.Overnight hotel at airport! Daughter decided that she couldn't get on the plane ...I returned home with her,whilst wife and son jetted off for a relaxing two weeks holiday Think the stress got to my girl half way home....she threw up all over the dashboard the seat,and herself .........Haven't had a holiday this year. Long weekend booked in New York in about a month....just me the wife and son!!!! Any tips on New York.....such as must do's....or don't do's?

I think a lot of people who didn't total understand the full implications of the move,which must number many thousands,and after reading some of the things written on forums and the like....would have been swayed towards the no vote? Right or wrong in the long run, the YES group at least had conviction.....I wonder how many of the NO votes were just playing safe/undecided? My point!........True figures for those really not wanting to move may be many less! Just a thought. By the end of this season Lescott will be right up there with John Terry. Just travelling with the England party will help Lescott grow in confidence,which even now he's not lacking in.His time will come!

Wouldn't it be nice to rest a few of the better players, get a few youngsters and fringe players involved...........AND win! I asked the same question about the early european games against"lesser"opponents, but let's be honest,over the last few years a few "lesser"teams have done for us in cup compotitions! SO!.....What to do?That's a tough one for Moyes,sure he'd like to rest a few,and give some a run out,but his goal is to win the match.So don't expect too many changes. Do players ask for a rest?......VDM asked for one once,and look at him! I think VDM should be on the bench,for a few of the mentioned games,and if a few goals up, stick him on to at least earn some of that friggin money we pay him,and give another player a rest!

Last year Cahill was considered by most teams as our biggest threat.He can score, create and unsettle opponents.He is effective in midfield as well as the goal mouth. To be fair he's always going to score more goals than Arteta especially if you don't count Artetas free kicks. But wasn't Cahill more effective in a single man attacking system?Moyes seemed to think so!.......Now he's just bought an £11million front man to play with AJ or Vaughan. And although he will obviously revert to a single man up front when ever HE wants too, it doesn't look as if this will be his main tactic......or is it?When Cahills back will he ask either AJ or Yakubu to fill the single striker role and let Cahill do what he did best and which got us 4th place once! It (a five man midfield)would mean we were harder to break down and allow Cahill to do what he did best.......AJ,Yakubu,Vaughan and Anichebe(maybe even McFadden) after that one strikers role!.....Can't happen can it? Which means Cahill not in his what was for us his usuall role!Will he be as good?better or worse maybe. surely he's too good to consider as a sub! There's loads of games coming up and we need him....if he hits the ground running and hits form....then he,AJ,Yakubu,Arteta and Gravo are sure as hell going to cause someone a problem or two......Wonder how many problems it will cause Moyes finding him a role in the new system?
