  1. Quite right, 4-5million would be a ridiculous increase in value, figures around the £30million mark will have to be the starting price. This will require more than one team requiring his services, other wise will moyes keep an unhappy player at the club if the only offer he recieves is around the £20million ? One worry for me is how will Fellaini go about spending his remaining few months at Everton, will he give us his best, or will he try and save something and avoid getting into trouble.......packed Goodison, Monday night......40,000 Evertonians will be watching you Mr Fellaini.......don't friggin let us down. Two goals will do nicely.
  2. So WBA beat liverpool, Everton and get a point away at Spurs........then lose 3-0 to Fulham! Sunderland were terrible and still held liverpool......and Man City only got a point at Stoke! Arsenal starting to look good and the mighty Saints who were unlucky against the two Manchester clubs were on the receiving end of the Gunners! Are there any bankers in the prem any more? Win Monday for Everton puts us 3rd!
  3. If he WANTS to move, he'll be going in January for some very decent money.I would have thought some money towards the debt and a couple of good players joining us.We can't pay him stupid wages.Start looking for the next £15million player we can keep for 3/4 years then sell for £35million. Jellavic was around the £5million mark, I'd put his price at £20million even more if he keeps scoring,Gibsons form is more like £5million pound player not the £500,000 we paid.......same with Baines and Lescott. Moyes has a half decent eye for players.I'd rather Fellaini stay, but if he goes, Moyes will buy well.

    Hello

Well for cold callers what you could try is caller Id (the phone displays the callers number) or have the phone go to answer machine pretty quickly, you hear who is leaving a messags and pick it up if you want.......or just answer the phone and be cool, the person on the other end really dosn't want to talk to you, they are just trying to earn a min wage. The most probable reason people just say howdy and never return is because they probably havn't been made particularly welcome!
  5. Sounds more like you were an Evertonian, who had to watch Cardiff because they were near....don't worry your home now
  6. I think what Fellaini was/is doing is 'sowing seeds'......He's just letting the big guns know he's ready to go anytime, possibly in January or maybe at the end of the season. If he was intent on staying any longer, he could have just said he was happy at the moment. If we finished 4th (doubt it to be honest), why would he opt to play for us in the champions league when he can double his wages and play for a team more capabale of winning it. Every team is a selling team when a player wants to leave/get more money, we as a club need to be as greedy as the players £40million.
  7. Some rs fans are asking if Fellaini could possibly do a job for them! They havn't got £30million for one thing....and why would Fellaini go there, he wants champions league football. They finished below us last season, and could well do the same this season......bless them.
  8. If it's true, and Moyes goes down the route of not wanting an unhappy player in the squad and is prepared to let him go in January ( for huge money) whats his game plan, play him and hope Fellaini plays out of his skin so as to attract the best possible move.....maybe accept his (Fellaini's) heart may not be in it and try other formations and players in various positions. Did he play the game of his life against Man Utd........hoping for a major bid before the window shut? It would be wrong of me to hope his transfer (if it's even true).....will be as successful as Pienaars to Spurs.
  9. Same old story, you don't keep an unhappy player, you can try and make him happy ie take a long hard look at his contract and if he's really that important give in a bit, could be worth it in the long run. The thing is if he REALLY wants to go.....let him go for REALLY big money. Fellaini isn't an Everton fan, people need to understand this.He wants as much money and trophies as he can get.He probably has feelings for Everton, but that's as far as it goes. We might finish 5th this year with Fellaini.....we could finish 5th this year if he leaves in January and Moyes spends the £30million wisely.
  10. I'm afraid PeteO that in a perfect world 'those' kids would end up 'unable ' to affect the average ability student who is perhaps easily distracted, therefor giving them a good chance at an education.Unfortunately we are not in a perfect world, and as you pointed out in your earlier post a lot of teachers aren't up to the job.In private schools, poor teachers don't last too long.
  11. You don't think it's a discipline problem!.....you think private schools are just the same! The first day at my sons secondary school, a boy in his class punched a female teacher in the stomach and another tride to set fire to the school. This is a pretty decent school all thing considered, there is an intake from a couple of bad districts, where some have usless fuc%ing parents and to be honest from what I've seen some of the parents from the 'better' districts aren't much better. The teachers including the head struggle with the problems this brings, let's be honset they aren't trained social workers. It IS discipline! They have no respect for thier parents, the police or teachers. I've got examples of private schools close to hand, wifes family, people don't pay £20-25,000 a year to have their childrens education ruined by one or two shit students or incompetent teachers.....don't bother to quote the odd exception to this rule as we all know there will be some. You get what you pay for. Some children will succeed where ever they are and some will fail even at a private school. Google a few of the top private schools, check out their fees, you wouldn't want to send your children there if you knew they wouldn't have a much better than average chance of success.
  12. My daughter wants to teach primary age children, I think she would be ok, she's great with children of that age, secondary school children would offer a far greater challange and she's well aware of that. Ideally teachers who teach teenagers should resemble a young John Cleese and carry a mighty cane, be allowed to use it and not be affraid to use it.When little Jonnys parents turn up to complain.....I better shut up! Kids that don't respect their teachers probably don't respect their parents......it's the fucking goverments fault we have these moral problems, but then most of thier kids probably go to private schools. Respective goverments are the only ones able to change things......this is "what grinds your gears".....isn't it?
  13. Don't really think they played badly against Arsenal, infact they played better than we did against WBA. They do seem to raise their game against bigger clubs, and if they do start losing against lesser clubs then they could be in trouble.Isn't that the same for all of us though? At the moment we do seem to have better goalscorers within the team, a less dodgy goalkeeper and a better team spirit, not to mention a better manager. Rodgers better get a win in soon...................bring back king kenny, I thought he was doing a sound job espcially in the transfer market
  14. From what I saw (crap stream) Everton wanted to carry on where they left off at Villa........problem is WBA wouldn't let them! Simple, every game starts afresh, WBA didn't want to roll over, no, they wanted to out muscle, out run and out score us.They knew we could make pretty triangles, so what did the little buggers do, they didn't let us make them.We sould have expected a battle, the West Brom way if you want, in your face and fast. We rode our luck, Fellaini missed a sitter, they broke and scored, the rest is history....well done WBA. Learn and move on, and don't believe the hype, your not as good as you think you are.
  15. He will Plus, see some early changes.
  16. Seems like some rs fans alreay turning on the new manager and the 'new' owners. Apparently pissed at them for not splashing even more cash .......didn't these tight wads pay off all the rs's debt(must have been a hundred million or so) AND then give king kenny another £100 million and THEN allow Rodgers to buy Allen, Borini, Sahin etc...tight gits! Dodgy goalkeeper, Gerrard and Carrigher getting towards the end, couple of players wanting out....Joe Cole bleeding them dry. YAWN.
  17. Looking at Everton, Jellavic, Pienaar, Fellaini, Baines, plus to be honest a few others, on our present form we are going to score! All we have to do is keep really tight at the back. There's a good feeling about the club, let's hope we can build on it. WBA have made a good start, they will be after the win, a home draw against us last season would I think have been a good point for them, their good start this season will see a draw as two points lost.Like that it should be a hell of a game. Can't see us not scoring.........WAB 1 Everton 2
  18. It will still be a battle, they always raise their game against the bigger clubs.
  19. Get away from the internet, switch the friggin pc off (it is a time waster, unless you have endless amounts of time) do th important things, get your life back.......Then, limit the time you come back to your pc.Sounds like you need a break. There's a life away from this and the other forums your on.If it's doing your head in have a rest from it. This place will still be here........
  20. We play Southampton on the 29th sep, the three games before that will tell us quite a bit. If we maintain the present form and get wins against WBA, Newcastle and Swansea and do it without injury we could well be on a roll. United, City and Arsenal don't look that great, City infact were there for the taking yesterday. If we get top 4 have we the squad to get any where in the champions league, we certainly haven't got the money. Let's just enjoy this good start, the lads are doing the Blue shirt proud, we've played some brilliant football, let's not look too far ahead.
  21. To fuc%ing late for some of us.......my eggs cracked way back!
  22. Blue 250

    Villa

We will create chances, like we did against United, let's be honest it could have been 4 or 5! Villa look shakey, if we can stop them from scoring, I just can't see them stoping us. I see little Blue triangles all over the place.....Pienaar, Baines, Fellaini and Jelavic.....perfection
  23. Thing is, if you played the same game with Aston Villa's squad, liverpools squad and so on, your going to find most of us are in the same situation.Three or four injuries to most teams would probably be a disaster.
  24. Yes we do have a good squad, yep and a very good first 11, we have a manager who is slowly becoming a very good manager......hell I don't even hate Bill ! I've always felt lucky to be an Evertonian, with or without trophies. Mind you there were times as a kid when bad results led me to this....... .
