  1. Victors pass to Coleman last night for our 5th goal was perfection and probably not what you would expect fom the powerfull target man. Maybe his best is yet to come, his strenght and holding ability make him the perfect foil for Jelavic and Mirallas.
  2. Hardly any manager (if any at all) could go to Fulham or Villa and turn them into a trophy winning club, unless of course tey have an Arab or two in tow! Maybe they could win an FA cup along the way, but then so could Moyes and Kenwright. There has to be a possibility, perhaps a small one, but never the less a possibility that a new manager at United could infact not only continue what Ferguson has been doing but improve it. It will take a brave man to take the helm at United, it will take a very good/lucky one to continue what Ferguson started.I think he's done a great job there, if Moyes did the unthinkable and leaves, I'd take Ferguson for a season or two. Problem with that might be I'd be missing the last train out of Lime street, because the games would be 5 or 6 minutes longer with Ferguson in charge!

    Cheltenham

Liverpools second half against Mansfield should be warning enough, anything but an easy game coming up. Fellainis class will probably make the difference, passion and effort wont be a problem for Cheltenham. 1-3.
  4. Stupid question!............Did the Russian linesman take money for the 1966 world cup. Liverpool have a cheat on their hands........live with it!
  5. Gave it to Vic.....Baines is such a nice person , he wont mind!
  6. Justice is served for the Goodison game! Not a great performance, but good enough.Thought the ref gave quite a bit our way.....nice for a change! Wonderful free kick from Baines. Be nice to see a stronger bench, but you've got to love the way Moyes and Everton just battle on through. But for the woodwork against Chelsea it would have been 4 straight wins. Vic's starting to look the business.
  7. Over to Mr Fellaini, should be fresh and ready to rip into Newcastle.I would think the whole team will want a win after Chelsea, that's what I'm going with. 0-2 Everton. Second thoughts, we're never going to keep a clean sheet.........1-2 Everton.
  8. Let's hope the 'out for a month' includes the fittness work needed to ensure no relapse.surely the medical staff arn't going to send out the likes of Gibson and Mirallas ahead of a sencible return.....one extra game without them must make more sence than a second injury.Guess that's where a bigger sqaud would have come in handy.
  9. Thing is they are not a 'mid table' team at best!.....you are actually doing them a favor describing them a such. They are infact, or should be a top 4 club. The money they've spent, the wage bill, the players they have on their books, their massively expencive youth system all point towards a team that should be challanging for the title. Forget this new manager rubbish, WBA have a new manager and Rafas got Chelsea firing after a couple of games.Described as 'mid table' would point towards a team being where they belong, they should be top 4 with what they've invested, they should be judged by that, at the end of the season anything other than top 4 for them is failure, where as with what Moyes/Everton have, a top 5 finish would be a fantastic result. Didn't the first lot of Yanks buy them Torres, Reina and a host of other big names, sure they put them into debt, but the second lot of Yanks paid that off and gave them another £100 million to spend.Other teams can only dream of having the chance they have been given......judge for yourself if they've wasted it or not! They may well become a 'mid table' team in a year or two.....unless they can get 'another' new owner who can buy them success.
  10. OK, I can help!.........get out more, meet more people, you will soon get used to it
  11. How's that for wasting 5 mins of your life typing shit?.......I'd say a success
  12. Not happy with today, but can't see how Chelsea are 'nasty snide cunts!'........we lost. They will know they were lucky, some times lucks with sometimes not. A for their 'Russian owner' departing, that wont be any time soon, so don't hold you breath. We are quite capabale of beating them, Russian or no Russian! We can play better than today, we have some excellent players to come back in, Anichebes looking the part and Vellios is a prospect.....we have a really good manager and a fantasic fan base, sure we lost today......move on.
  13. Chelsea outplayed for large parts of the game got the breaks! We were unlucky today, simple as that. We've played worse than that and have won. Shame to end the year like that.
  14. Wow, threads like this will surely help to bring plenty of new American Blues to the forum. I actually like a significant proportion of Americans that I've met, maybe swayed by the fact that I have American family, but then that probably just means I've mixed with ordinary 'Yanks' and not been influenced by TV and media. Americans have their problems, we have ours.
  15. Why wouldn't Fellaini want to join Chelsea for over £100,000 a week ? Why wouldn't Chelsea pay £30 million for one of the best players in the prem, who is still only 25 ? Why would Moyes accept anything less than £30 million ?
  16. .............Please someone buy zoo a frigin joke book for christmas!!.......although he did say the post was laughable......so maybe he DID get the joke
  17. Yeh well don't waste time laughing and posting on here.......buy something before it gets to 35% off!
  18. It's about time Fellaini started looking for another club!.....one where roughing up opponents is the norm, where stamping on players is acceptable, where part of the tactical plan is to physically intimidate the opposition........eeerrmmmm how about Stoke!
  19. Hard to compare Catterick and Kendall, both won 2 championships and an FA cup, Kendall just shades it for me. Two great men, didn't Catterick like Dean die at Goodison?........ Paisley was a good manager, but he did inherit something pretty good.Shankley actually built it.
  20. Agree, if he was 20 years younger and we lost Moyes, I'd take Ferguson as the next Everton manager no problem.
  21. I'm still not sure Fellaini has reached his peak, I can't see why if two or more clubs really want him the starting figure shouldn't be £30mllion. Moyes/we, don't want to lose him and he still has a decent length contract with us, everything points towards the mid 30's (millions).
  22. All this talk of Dean got me looking at the 'complete records' book....Evertons history 1878-1985 (so not that complete). Ok, Deans best season was obviousy 1927-28 a fantastic 60 league goals, that's the main reason he's so well known.Dean missed three games that season, one game in particular had me thinking his record goal haul could have been even more impressive. It was at home to West Ham 22/10/27......it turned out to be Evertons biggest win of the season 7-0.Now we obviously can't be certain that even if he'd played he would have scored, but as the Hammers defence was so generous I'm pretty sure Dixie would have got a couple, he got all 5 goals a few days previous against Man utd! and his return game after West Ham he scored a hattrick against Portsmouth!........We will sadly never see another like Dixie Dean, he certinly deserves that statue and the title 'ultimate' legend. As for your thoughts on the rs legend Mr Kane they already have a statue of theirs.....Shankly.
  23. Yep!.......Lawrenson had us down as winning the last 6 games....not exactly 'mystic Mark' is he. Spurs, to come to Goodison to attack.....and lose!
  24. Some poor little liverpool fans going to get Suarez for christmas......he'll be taking him back to the shop Boxing day, because he wont stand up!
