  1. I’d love him here. Big question mark, as with any player bought from abroad, but would be a good signing.
  2. Only sell him if we get a ‘can’t turn down’ offer. As in something really obscene . £35 million plus. That kind of madness. Good squad player who will rotate well and can change a game too. Always looks dangerous, if a bit inconsistent
  3. This. Pickford clear No1. Shouldn’t really be a discussion but media do love it don’t they
  4. Would be a great signing. Exactly what we need.
  5. The more I hear, the more I want this to happen. Could be way off on this, but I’d like to think he’d move with a point to prove? Done well for City but not a star man (obviously) Maybe it’s a chance for him to really show his worth elsewhere. Or maybe I’m just desperate to have a team that works their socks off and actually wants to be here for the club, not just the money!
  6. I’m from a family of Leicester fans / season ticket holders and they expect him to leave. Scapegoated by Rodger’s apparently. He’s not really awful. But he’s not really good either. A kind of ‘meh’ player, we’ve certainly had our fair share of those recently. Hopefully it’s just yet another bullshit rumour
  7. Passionate Blue and always tries his hardest so never an issue with commitment, just an issue of his ability (or lack of) Play elsewhere, will get plenty of games and have a decent career. At 25 should be playing week in, week out. Didn’t just take the money and waste another 3 (?) years here. So can’t fault him on that.
  8. I don’t rate him at all, think he’s a liability (when he plays) which isn’t very often. The quicker he’s gone the better.
  9. A transfer strategy?? Lay off the kool-aid mate …….. this is Everton we’re talking about!!
  10. Shame how it’s turned out as he’s about the only midfielder we’ve got who can string a few passes together. Yet another example of a player not justifying the incredibly high wage they earn. Needs to go this summer
  11. Disappointed by this. It’s not a great look is it, sadly money talks
  12. He’s a decent player. Not brilliant but not utterly dreadful either. I think he showed his best form during lockdown. Once fans came back in, he dropped right off again. Confidence seems fragile to me. That said, he needs to go. He isn’t the answer. If a team is interested, it’s better than us offering him out so hopefully means we might get a better deal. I dunno, would 10-15 million be possible?
  13. Bang average player, who if wasn’t playing for Spurs wouldn’t be so highly thought of. Agree it’s a Cleverley type player. Keep Davies (very similar) and spend the wages elsewhere. Beggars can’t be choosers …….. but in this case …….. yes we can
  14. Instantly improves the defence. Outstanding signing he isn’t but definitely a step in the right direction. Ship Mina and Keane out and defence probably isn’t that far off being solid and dependable…….. as much as our back line can be anyway!! Now for the midfield …….
  15. Indeed I wouldn’t mind Allan staying. The rest can shut the door on the way out tho.
  16. So far this window has been really decent and we haven’t signed anyone yet! Finally the deadwood being cleared!
  17. ‘You’ll play if you sign’ Hardly an earth shattering promise is it Anywway, happy if it gets over the line. Be a good signing for us. Ship Mina & Keane out and balances nicely.
  18. Been watching him in these last 2 international games as didn’t know he was a midfielder (poor on my part I know) Looks very decent in there to be fair. Also gives us ‘cover’ for injuries too etc at LB All about the price tho.
  19. 100% yes. A creative midfielder!! (and a fantastic player too) Doubt it will happen tho
  20. Decent player, not outstanding. And thats a high price. Would he improve us? Probably. Is that cos we’re a bit shit in midfield and most players would improve us? Probably
  21. This was mentioned in another thread, but any link to someone described as a 'veteran' should not even be considered. The Everton retirement home needs to close its doors
  22. Ah ok, I haven’t watched him enough to know what kind of player he is
  23. He plays as a focal point up top. Very good in the air, holds the ball up well and has proven (previously) he can score goals. That gives the team something to build off. I'd personally be gutted to see him leave, if FL can get a decent midfield around him, its a no brainer. Could be the perfect foil for a fit, on-form Ali (?) etc Obviously lots of 'ifs' 'buts' and 'maybes' about all that tho!!
  24. Lots of media hype for sure , he would fit the 'type' we supposedly want too. Young, homegrown etc Haven't seen a lot of him but think he's more a creative midfielder than a work horse ?? if that's right, its something we are crying out for in the centre of the park, someone to control the tempo of a match
