Drenthe was at fault for giving the ball away cheaply in the first place then as you say Felli and Johnny got in a bit of a mess and Shane had to come accross and try to deal with it leaving Bent free inside the six yard box in the process I do think that he was partly to blame but Im sure he will learn from it and all in all ha had a steady game

But this guy is only an average Premiership defender who is unsettled and his contract is running down so I doubt it would take that much to get him. As it happens I dont even want us to get him because I dont think he would add anything to our squad. My point is that I feel it is being overly negative to say there is no way we could ever sign a player of his standard

To be fair if he just lost the ball when trying to beat a man in the opposition half it wouldnt be a problem but like yesterday he does it in our half and he gives away possesion needlessley in dangerous places and doesnt track back so he can be a bit of a laibility defense wise However I do agree that its a no brainer and we should sign him if we can because for all his defensive faults he does offer us something different going forward

Ive said a million and one times that We need new owners so that pretty much rules out the last option I wouldnt be against a group of professionals coming in to oversee the sale of the club in principal, but who is going to pay them and how much will it cost? Not sure that is what the BU are aiming for because every time they release a statement they seem to change their minds The big issue I have with the BU , apart from the fact they dont seem to know what they want themselves, is that I dont agee with the badgering and hounding of BK who IMO deserves better
