Whilst I think you have greatly exagerated the average age of the squad I do think you have a point. I said this would happen 18 months ago and got shot down in here when eveyone else was thinking we had our strongest squad for years and were going to break the top 4. We have been in decline for a long time now and its only going to get worse before it gets better. I just hope we have enough about us to avoid getting dragged into a relegation battle

Well every time I have seen him play he has looked like his boots are 5 sizes too big for him his touch has been that bad. Fair play you cant fault the lad for effort but is that really good enough?

Im not defending Saha because I agree that he has been woeful all season however in the 2 games Vellios has started the game has completely passed him by and I just dont think he is ready. IMO he should be getting brought on as a substitute were he seems to able to have more impact

Lets not get carried away he has scored a hatrick against Blackburns Reserves, thats a million miles away from the Premiership. On the two occassions he has started he has looked like a little boy lost so I still think he is better coming off the bench Must admit though I would have put him ahead of Denis in the pecking order, I can only assume he is getting minutes because of his physical presence because I cant see what else he brings to the table
