  1. Your correct he has been injured but made his comeback for the U18s against Blackburn on Saturday, played 60 minutes apparently
  2. To be fair Rodwell spent most of last season injured or he would certainly have played a lot more games
  3. The young local lads are normally the first to incur the wrath of the fans at Everton such as Osman, Hibbo, Vic, Unsworth Ebbrell

  5. The way I see it Barkley came in and made a mistake , his head dropped and so Moyes pulled him out of the firing line If the mistake is playing on his mind and his confidence has gone but we continue playing him it could ruin him for good, especially given how fickle some Evertonians are they would soon turn on the lad ( ala. Osman, Hibbo, Arteta, Cahill, Neville) Moyes sees him every day in training and if he says his head is down and he is off the pace then I have no reason not to believe him. Barkleys time will come, people seem to forget the lad is only 18 and he has missed the best part of 2 years development through injury I still trust the manager clearly a lot of people in here dont
  6. Well said and welcome to the forum lol Dont think it will go down well in some quarters though!
  7. Agreed but you also have to have either the players or the finances to replace them and I dont think we have either
  8. Great idea but who the f**k is going to take over? If you or any of the other BU cronies know of a buyer waiting in the wings can you please put us all out of our misery and get them to put a bid in?
  9. So a young footballers development is just about muscle , what about the players state of mind/comfidence and his maturity do these factors play no part at all?
  10. Very true Bill but in the present climate there are a lot of people in here that just want a good old moan about anything and everything connected to Everton Football Club regardless of any sound reasoning. To be honest Im a little discusted at how quickly people in here have turned on Phil Neville IMO he has been a fantastic signing for this club and a great captain and so deserves much better than the crap he gets in here. Yes he is past his best , that is why he hasnt been in the starting XI when everybody is fit but I think he is still a very capable squad player
  11. I wouldnt want either of them they are both a waste of space
  12. Sounds like we need to sack this Moyes fella

  14. Well I can certainly understand your scepticism however the article does also say that he is now redoubling his efforts to find a new striker, a bit like the cheque is in the post I know, but suppose we will have to wait and see
  15. To be honest the way I read it was that it was something he "might" look at until we get some reinforcements, or should I say if we get some reinforcements
  16. I suppose that is a bit like the chicken and the egg scenario but IMO he should still be trying to put crosses in to the area yes. I think its more of a failing of our forwrds than of Baines and if he isnt going to put crosses in then there is no real point in him ever going over the half way line
  17. Sorry wasnt trying to sound dickish however as it happend Blackburn have played Samba from the start on a few occasions now. I would not say its regular but I wouldnt say Moyes is using Felli in an advanced position on a regular basis either
  18. No need to be a complete tit. Were all the senior players injured at the start of the season.. no. Did Barkley start .. erm yes I think he did This There is an endless list of young players that Moyes has given a chance to and its not been as a last resort because of injuries and it is completely ludicrous to sy otherwise
  19. Erm yes and they have! Let the players who are paid to do a job of scoring goals worry about that He has done for the past 6 months and they have failed to deliver I agree with Bill and scouse on this one in that its far from ideal but I can certainly see where Moyse is coming from
  20. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2012/01/22/everton-line-up-loan-swoop-for-fiorentina-winger-alessio-cerci/56706/
  21. When did I say that? I was reffering to your comment about Moyes never playing youngsters as utter bollocks
  22. If we had a centre forward who ventured into the oppositions penalty area every now and again we would probably have scored a lot more because IMO he is one of the best crossers of a ball in the Prem. I am not trying to claim that the ability to cross a ball means his form has been good Im just saying that the attacking side of his game has been decent. He may have had a dip in form defensively but I think he is a very long way away from being shite, put it this way I wouldnt want to swap him for any other left back in the country
  23. I think that is extremely harsh, incidentally I was listening to the Radio on the way to the match yesterday and they came out with an interesting stat, guess which player in the entire Premiership has put the most crosses in to the opposition penalty area this season? None other than Bainsey, shite my arse!
