  1. It does make it a lot less likely though. If the costs are split between the 2 clubs it means they have more money to spend also if they were intending to cut corners they would have to run it past both boards and i cant see that happening
  2. Thats probably why this rumour is doing the rounds because he will be available on a Bosman at the end of the season so will be available on the cheap
  3. Are you for real??? If the 2 clubs do decide to share it will half the costs and therefore it stands to reason that a better ground would be more affordable
  4. According to SkySports today we have been linked with this Hungarian winger who is out of contract at the end of the season so should be right in our price bracket!! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11671_4541874,00.html
  5. Admittedldy I am only going from what I have heard in the media but it does seem that redeveloping Goodison is a definite non starter. How could we pay for it and can we really improve it that much anyway? Where would we play while the work was being done? If you enough but I dont see ant reason why the club/BK would lie about it. Yes I would prefer to stay in Liverpool and yes I would prefer our own stadium but Im just being realistic. The longer we stay where we are the further we will fall down the pecking order. The benefits of a shared stadium are obvious and I cant honestly think of a single logical reason why anybody would be against it
  6. In an ideal world I would much prefer our own stadium, somewhere like the Kings Dock would be nice :-) !! However we are a million miles away from the ideal world. We blatantly cant afford to go it alone so its a straight choice between Kirkby/Tesco or a shared stadium. I cant see how a shared stadium would effect the rivalry or the bitterness and seriously doubt that vandalism would be an issue. The technology exists for us to have a "blue stadium one week or a red stadium the next at the flick of a switch" according to the article which kind of rules out all of your points! I personaly would prefer o share a ground in Liverpool with The Shite than to move to Kirkby, not that I am totally against that idea either!
  7. Lol I hope its not that bad a source because weve just signed a contract with them to do our scouting!
  8. Phil Neville for me, looked solid at the back and got forward well at times, i also think Tim Cahill had a good first half
  9. Todays NoW are touting this one around now "Everton are confident they will win the race for Dutch winger Eljero Elia. (News of the World)"
  10. We tried to keep Cars but he wanted to go and the money we got for Johnson and Mcfadden, who hardly got a game between them, was too good to turn down. Moyse has tried to replace Cars with Catillo and has replaced Johnson with Saha and we are £15M up on the deal which he used on Fellaini so alll in all I think he has done quite well out of it
  11. Squad players maybe but never a player who would be seen as in the starting 11
  12. Of cause he would !!!!!!! Why wouldnt he?????????????????????
  13. Everton are apparentlly looking at FC Twente winger Eljero Elia http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11671_4490077,00.html
  14. This one seems to be a non starter according to todays Daily Post Everton have denied all knowledge of it
  15. Ha ha just read the most ludicrous rumour yet in todays Telegraph!! http://www.evertonfc.com/news/what-the-pap...ovember-11.html
  16. Yeah we could close the ground down while we do it and play in the car park!!
  17. Neither would I. My point is that it shouldnt be a case of Everton improving just to appease the Yak it should be the other way around.
  18. Bollocks to that!!! If the Yak doesnt start performing we should move him on anyway and he couldnt really blame Everton! I would love nothing more than to see him return to form and start banging in the goals for us but Im worried that he has already decided he wantsa move and is up to his old tricks again
  19. It wouldnt exactly be out of character if the Yak did want to leave after all hes had his 18months now and is starting to look like he did for Borro towards the end of his time there ie lazy and uninterested. He also did the same at Pompey and Maccabi Haifa I hope its just a spell he is going through but if it is he needs to snap out of it quickly
  20. I cant see this one happening but you did miss a couple of points out 1 the Russians could offer a lot more in wages and 2 they could offer Champions League Football. Hopefully though Piennar is not the type of player to have his head turned by silly money
  21. Parker is a good player but as for the rest of them I cant see any of them being good enough for our side and I would be exceptionally dissapointed if we signed any of them. Downing could proably be ok as a squad player but not worth anywhere near the money it would take to get him I think Stephen Hunt would be a better bet as he is a better player and much cheaper, and even he would only be a squad player
  22. So Lescott and Jags werent hoofing the ball up??????? Unfortunately thats the type of shite that THE TEAM is playing at the moment so I dont see how you can single out Neville and Yobo. I agree with the rest of what your saying but then that backs up my point anyway, that it was a poor TEAM performance
  23. I agree with you completely about the points being more important than the performances right now but you have completelt missed my point. If you read all of my comments I was merely defending Yobo and Neville. I watched the game and neither of them poot a foot wrong for the entire 90 minutes. I was agreeing that it was a wretched performance BY THE TEAM and that I couldnt see why those 2 players were being singled out Im just sick of people slagging off Neville purely because he used to play for Man U
  24. How do you work that out??? The back four/keeper did ok today. Yes we were shite and exceptionaly fortunate to win ut the defenders arent to blame. The midfiled was non existent and the Saha never had a look in until the last 10 mins
  25. <_< Ha ha If its in the Daily Star it must be true!!!! If they wouldnt accept £16Million in the summer why would they accept £12Million in Jan and I doubt we will have that much to spend anyway?
