  1. Jus had a kopite say how bad Hibberts challenge was cos he's jus seen it pointed out. Replied to him Adams was just as bad. Kopite: What you on about? Didn't see it .. Can't remember it mustn't have been that bad, they didn't show it

    Me: blink.png

    The Quim!

  2. One of the worst strikers i've ever seen at Goodison, just stood over the left hand side of the half way line shrugging, then made the odd half assed run. Don't think he ever scored a goal in the old lady, complete other player at their ground though.

You obviously went a lot in the days of Dean and Young then again in the 80's and then only once since and that happened to be on an Arsenal off-day... behave!

  3. Worst tackle in the game was Charlie Adams and that should have been a yellow(not that he got one like). If that refs not sacked, Everton should seriously pursue another football association because the English FA are corrupt as fuck

King Kenny thought they were great. What a joke. they played shit and got lucky they had a cunt for a ref

    Not even mentioned on MOTD!

  4. Did Saha manage to even get a single shot on target? He had opportunities and wasted every one of them. Strikers who can't hit the target from 10 yards are in need of reprogramming. In this league, you need to have a better shot to goal ratio, as chances don't come often.

Saha was playing very well up to and beyond the sending off. He made a chance or 2 out of nothing. When fit he should be starting as he's the best we've got.

  5. We played well today or we were playing well today. Moyes set up alright (even after the misjustice). We were just robbed of the excellent game we should have seen by an inferior referee.

Today I'm not ashamed by the performance or result, I am still suffering disbelief at how we have been once again anally fucked by shit refereeing and to be honest I don't think I'm being bitter saying this, the refs fooking hate us!!!

  6. It's called entertainment fella, if you will....'banter', I've had enough good natured 'banter' from Bitters over the last few years the club was on the precipice,

so don't talk down to me, for doing exactly the same as they have done in the past on various forums, you self righteous gobshite.

lad...before you go to bed turn all your gas taps on, it's ace!

  7. If the referee believes their was genuine intent OR the challenge was so wreckless (even without intent) that it posed a danger, he's entitled to send off

This is why you shouldn't be on our forum - fuck off!

  8. Fellaini is 23 - players peak in their late 20's. Add to this he's playing nationally for a real emerging power in world football. He needs a 5 year contract - barring injury he's worth upwards of £20m for the next 5 years at least. This is totally different to Arteta as he got injured in his 'peak' years and hasn't regained the level where he should have been - a gamble that didn't pay off and we cut our loses. Fellaini however, we must go all out to keep him, I'd be happy with a CM trio of Felli, Rodwell, Barkley for the next 5 years - build on what we've got. On the other hand, if Felli's not signing then we need to cash in Jan while we can still get a premium.

  9. they do have electricity and TVs in datchet (dead posh and near windsor), but not in the church or on my reception table. i'll have to see if i can get it on my phone.

You need to speak up when they ask for objections - getting married during football season... on Derby day!!! Bad conjee!!!

  10. It's on an Everton vs City thread - threads die naturally when interest dies.

What happens at my club is relevant to what happens at Everton - for good and bad. We went down a certain path and are experience the good and bad of that - these are issues that you could face too... (and in some cases ARE facing).

If you genuinely want to help Everton, surely it's good to know the effects of potential decisions you're making? i.e.new stadium, new owners.

If Everton are going to be back where they probably should be - and if the fan base is as worldwide as claimed, then you have to get used to Everton fans who will never come to the ground, or even see you play live. Fans who can't speak the language, and have never heard of Walton.

If you're a global club, you're a global club, and the interest in Everton will extend to other fan bases too - not all of whom have an agenda, or share the 'can't stand Everton' view.

Today it might look like City's issues and Everton's issues are a million miles apart - but things change quickly. This game only works with other teams to play against - and I for one want to be playing proper quality teams - and that's Everton (and dare I say Liverpool) and others.

The future of Everton affects all fans.

Remember, IF things go badly wrong at Everton (through no fault of your own) you might actually need the support of other fans. There are clubs just this weekend begging for other fans to turn up at their ground to help save them.

One of the reasons I avoid the City boards is that it's just Sky Blue coloured vision all day. 'Rooney's crap', 'Liverpool deluded' etc. Fans seem all to willing to say "look at what Barca do, or Madrid" - but don't have the balls to look nearer and learn from other fans and teams - they get all phobic about it.

If I'm a bloody top poster - you should be ashamed! (and I'm not).

Everton aren't a bloody village team... I've like to think their fans have the same world view of football as the club. Open minded and expanding.

Let it stay in the Everton - City thread then.

I'm not ashamed of my post count - I'm in a job where I can't post throughout the day and often just scan at the end of a days work.

Sites like 606 are for neutrals, this is an Everton forum. I don't want to be reading posts where we're being compared to City every other post. I want to be reading posts and debating with like minded football fans - Evertonians. You make some very valid points but your Everton knowledge is of an outsider looking in - you won't post passionately about our club, nor can you understand where we are at currently. You may empathise with us but only us blues truely understand.

  11. C1982, I respect your opinion of course, but I also respect the opinion of others too. Having a friendly supporter of another club post is a breath of fresh air. The truth is that without such posts we would not have responded to them. That is only good for the forum IMO. Of course we don't want to go too far on Man City as the game ois now over and done with, but there is no harm in other fans posting honest opinions really.

I agree there's no harm but popping up in the majority of threads on a daily basis... too much in my opinion.

  12. not sure why it's time for him to say goodbye? he seems much more decent than a lot of city fans that post around the internet..that thread they had on bluemoon made me feel sorry for the moronic bag of cunts..this guy has made an effort and done some big posts..a couple of digs i will agree intentional or not..city fans piss me off..but not the ones who make an effort..just the ones who sit in their computer chairs with their lumpy little dicks in their hands and complain everyone hates them cos of jealousy..it's not jealousy..i was happy to see another team challenge the sky lot..still am..i just hate most of the wankers that have jumped on the coat tails for the ride

He seems a more than decent guy to be honest but it's just getting annoying every post having a Man.City comparison or an opinion based on perceptions. He has become the main poster over the past week and where I respect his opinion in general I'm on her to chat Everton, not to educate and not to make comparisons on each subject.

I may be in the minority on this but I'm on here to share opinions with other Evertonians, I don't mind a bit of banter with other fans in the occasional thread but when we have a non-Evertonian as a main poster we're doing a dis-service to our moto: 'Everton FC Forums For The Thinking Evertonian'...

  13. You say when City came in for Lescott we had a choice!......yeh sure, keep an unhappy player who had probably been offered a double your wages offer from the Arabs, or make the money daft Arabs pay top Dollar. It wasn't so much a case of Everton being greedy, they were losing a very important player because he was being offered stupid money. We just made you prove how much money they had to burn.

Lifes very precious, time away from work and obligations is very precious, at present I'm happy and willing to dedicate a part of that time to Everton. An Everton who have no money.....but who have players who have worked their way up through the youth system, an Everton who have an old wooden ground full of history and memories, within the ground is a trophy cabinet, that could to be fair be a tad fuller, but most ( if any) of the silverware wasn't bought !!!!

If a megar rich Arab does to Everton what they have done for you (City)....then I'm off to do something else with my precious time. This game is being destroyed by money, greedy players, greedy agents etc.

I'm sure I don't speak for too many people, and looking at all the drooling city fans watching players who couldn't give a shit about the sky blue shirt, I can only imagine that there will still be plenty of Evertonians happy to follow their club as they try to buy trophies.

Every trophy City win between now and when the game falls apart will have been bought, if you can't buy the prem this year, then you will spend tens of millions in the summer and so on!

I'm sure you'll have an answer......and little bits of it might even make sence, that's all the sadder.

    Good post.

I think that's the cue for a bye, bye to our manc 'friend'... Toffeetalk is for the thinking Evertonian, maybe we'll meet again pre-Everton - City at our place, but for now thank you for your input but to be honest you're beginning to wind people up. There's enough Evertonians on this forum past and present doing that so we don't really need you.

May I just add... Bayern are a class act a truely professional, experienced TEAM at the highest level - you can't buy that!!!

  14. Was it me or did anyone else think that Osman again went missing being on the wing?

We all know he's very inconsistent out wide and plays best in the middle - Drenthe must be on the left vs the Shite with Osman playing off the 'forward'.

However important Cahill is for us his injury could be important in the fact that Saha or Velios may play with Osman off them and Rodwell and Felli can resume their deep-lying partnership and we can play with natural width in Drenthe and Coleman. I believe Cahill or Osman should be in the team although totally different players they play best in the same position.

  15. Yesterday's performance was similar to the last time we played there... it worked last time and we won, it didn't yesterday. Premier League Football is a points business not performance, sometimes you have to play unpretty football or rather very little actual football. I think Moyes and many others know attacking/creativity wise Man.City are miles beyond us and had yesterday been 2 teams throwing attack after attack they would have killed us on the counter - the few attacks that we did have when they broke down we were instantly outnumbered with their speed from back to front.

Did people expect anything different yesterday? The fact is that's how we play away against Man.City, Chelsea and Man.United. It's worked in the past and will continue to work in the future.
