...was talking to my mate about pienaar and he said his productivity this season is 1 goal (I knew that) and 0 assists (I didn't know that but can't think of any either!!!) Is this true? What are Coleman's?
I saw that Babel deal the other day (surely it would require a fee on our behalf). No part of me believes the story... but am I in the minority here thinking he's a very good player who hasn't had a fair crack at the shite? I think he'd be good for someone given a fair crack!
Looked a natural goal scorer in his short Citeh spell but Ancelotti seems to play him out wide. I think he'd be an amazing signing and the answer to our goal scoring problems (along with 4-4-2 of course!!!)
Felli was world class. Coleman worked his little irish socks off. Saha actually put in a shift. Distin was solid. Neville beat bale phsycologically. Johnny grew as the game went on. Distin was solid. Becks kept chipping away. Arteta looked more like his old self. Baines was always a threat and coped well with lennon. Piennar showed flashes of brilliance. Howard made a couple of fantastic saves... and Moyes got it tactically spot on!!!
Thinking back... didn't spurs offer bentley and keane for saha and pienaar on august deadline day??? (rumour) - would have been a great deal for us looking back!
Wants out!
We need to demand a deal involving bentley if they're having pienaar - even if it means a couple of mil on our behalf (from the sale of Heitinga?)
Could imagine him ending up in MLS on Becks advice and all the old Man.U boys buying a franchise each!!! It'll be the modern day version of buying a race-horse!!!
Off to New York?
