  1. Yep - well he said to do the right thing. But for me this is meaningless. He should have come out and said this like Neville and Carragher on Sunday or yesterday. He has a powerful voice and chose not to use it. He said it whilst the ship was sinking.
  2. Sir Kenny Dalglish only now decides to come out and oppose it
  3. Reckon Liverpool will be the last to formally leave?
  4. I wonder now if we might get the odd VAR decision on Friday
  5. https://talksport.com/football/868433/big-six-points-deducted-premier-league-everton-farhad-moshiri-european-super-league/
  6. I listened to it and it wasn’t. It doesn’t need to be done in my opinion. There statement was thoughtful and well articulated. It should have been left at that. Talking about punishment and points deduction for me takes the focus away from the real issue and can divide fans.
  7. I just wish Moshiri wasn’t sucked in to interviews like this mornings with his buddy Jim White. I thought the statement the club put out was perfect and that should have been left as that.
  8. I think I heard that because the bottom teams get removed after 10 games to stop ‘dead’ fixtures. I could be wrong.
  9. Have you got this post saved from the last few seasons!
  10. It was a rhetorical question. I know the answer as do we all it was to point out the very fabric that they just clearly don’t understand or if they do just blatantly don’t care for. The thing is the fans do have the power. If no one watches it doesn’t work.
  11. Let’s home we beat the London Scarlet Cannons on Friday.
  12. I can’t see it happening but at the same time it’s an absolute disgrace they’re even at this point. How can they do this to their own fan base? Still while there is uncertainty I doubt we’ll break ground at Bramley.
  13. The Premier league won’t and shouldn’t let them play in it. That’ll kill the interest dead. Let them play against the same 15 teams for the next 23 years they’ll all be bored to death with it and I hope it flops. In the mean time like Gary Neville said ban them from Europe, give them a points deduction and cripple them before it all kicks off and then it won’t be the spectacle they all hope for.
  14. If it goes ahead which I dearly hope it doesn’t. This would surely put Bramley Moore in jeopardy. Let’s not kid ourselves there will be less money around for those that are left behind.
  15. You don’t need xG to tell you that!
  16. Well that was all believable until I read that that Palfy posted something that made sense
  17. This game should have been sewn up a long, long while ago.
  18. My one disappointment in all this is that we missed the late 90s early 2000 boat pre FFP. If we were managed properly in this time we could be where city are now. The fact that we are now swimming upstream against these caps mean (unless it get abolished) we’ll struggle to ever get there again.
  19. Am I missing something? In the original article that sparked heated debate the ‘one game changer’ they were relating to was Moshiri. BK was only one of a number of others mentioned. I personally think we should just celebrate this for what it is. A superb well researched and detailed planning application which looked to seek the views of the city residents, Evertonians, historical organisations, environmentalists etc etc. No stone was unturned. I have my own personal views on all the other stuff but I think the here and now needs to be enjoyed and celebrated. The other stuff should be left for another day.
  20. Brilliant news! So pleased and upset at the same time. The countdown really is on now.
