  1. They are both awful, just Bale dived before he got near the keeper rather than after making it a bit more blatant Not that Teeth doing the cockroach was acceptable more that Bale will take a share of the media coverage.
  2. Only started watching Homeland last week and finished the 1st series in 2 days, didn't expect it to be so good. If you want a show to watch over the full year to fill your free time One Piece is worthy of the void.
  3. The hop indicates he's tried to not step on him, and has took most the weight out of his stride. Suarez should be booked for making a meal of it.
  4. Suarez's doesn't look to bad tonight, Bale with a criminal belly flop. Ref shit it and never gave the yellow. Really need bans imposed for these type of incidents.
  5. Iniesta stuck out his leg to try and con his way for a pen. The commentator says "I've seen them given for less, both teams have now had genuine shouts for a pen". The whole game is a farce, there needs to be a complete overhaul, players, managers, refs, commentators, and most of all the FA's. All playing part in ruining the beautiful game. Edit: Messi waving for Alonso to get sent off for a common foul, didn't deserve to score off the resulting fk.
  6. Disgraceful stuff like that should be a 3+ game ban.
  7. Liverpool fans moaning about Stoke's style, because the lump it, foul, and hope for a lucky goal. Criticising Stoke is very short sighted of them, as I'm sure that was their tactics last year if you replace foul with cheat. Now it's poor mans tika-taka, cheat, and hope for a lucky goal.
  8. I thought he was just favourite, hadn't realised it was all signed.
  9. Spot on, I hadn't thought of that. Who would you like Hamilton's replacement to be?
  10. With Button being so close I think he would have told them to do one. It was good to see Massa get on the podium.

At kicking people and crying to the ref.
  12. I'm not a fan of Vorm, think he's a bit of a Bartez. Same with Al Habsi. Both good keepers but flatter to deceive.
  13. Vinnie Jones ‏@therealvinniej If i was bald 4'6 and got to wear a black suit once a week with the power of batman and a red card as my weapon id zap everyone wotacock ref
  14. Great start to the race, Alonso .
  15. 4 goals in 7 games (only played in 6) puts him on course for over 20
  16. He's not on the same level as Martyn imo. I think this thread is lost on some. Yes, Howard is consistent and one of the better keepers in the league. However the competition in the league isn't as strong as in the past, but most of them are younger than Howard and should improve in the coming years and we'll be left behind in a position that we have traditionally had one of the best players. The main 2 flaws in Howards game are his distribution and what can only be attributed as flapping, and there has been little of improvement in either, with I assume communication being the main key to both. He has improved immensely at pens, that helped us get to a cup final, but that doesn't outweigh his flaws imo.

I think he came across as upset about only getting a draw as we deserved to win, but was contempt with the point as we were going home with non until the 86th minute. He acknowledges the side didn't play well in the first half, but the team made up for it in the second, only for poor officiating to deny us the result. I prefer the saying "second place is the first loser", but we play a 38 game season you can't win them all.

Chelsea Reading game was 2-2 when Torres put them infront miles off side and only 10 mins to go, otherwise we may have been top. I wouldn't be so disheartened at Moyes' comments, we should have won which is sickening, but a point at the DW is a good point. Wigan has been a tough ground for more than just us. Man U were comfortably beaten there last year without getting close to Wigan's goal. Not even a single shot on target and Wigan missed a few sitters if my memory serves me right. They were cheated against City, beat Newcastle 4 nil (it should have been more), and drew with Chelsea, Everton, and Liverpool.

He should be a contender for the Liverpool job with that logic.

I really don't see how the ref can not give Jela a pen after his foot is kicked
  21. Anyone else miss the Goodison crab? @OptaJoe 7 - There have been seven instances of a PL player completing 100+ passes this season & 3 of those have been Mikel Arteta. Metronome.

Testimonials don't count . Tbh I've been disappointed with Naismith as well, the game against Leeds he was the worst of a dreadful bunch, but it's too early to say how shit he is.
