  1. Skybet special for Hafnia Baines to score, make an assist, complete 60 or more passes, win 4 or more tackles and win man of the matchLeighton Baines Specials 500/1 Anyone moaning about the Everton II the other night, we had more 1st team players on the pitch than Leeds did. So jib it with the reserves excuses.
  2. Fellaini deserves better than that, he'll be on the box next year. Obviously Pienaar is the only one who's had the Fifa treatment, Phil Neville doesn't look far off, the rest are awful.
  3. Thanks pal, sorry I've already gave the spare ticket away though. You're not missing much they're usually horrible stomach-turning affairs... apart from the Carsley one

  6. Anichebe is all set to be top in motm wins, and 2nd in total votes. I wouldn't expected that after the Leyton Orient game, hope he keeps the form and work rate up.
  7. Xavi to Sport—"Abidal is in the gym every day; morning and evening. I can't say for definite, but he should be back by November or December"
  8. Ditto. Good to hear Neville saying that the prem is all or nothing now, and that no one is going for a draw anymore. Sounds like him and the team are pumped to go for it this season. I've got that exciting feeling (which is bad as an Evertonian as you know something will crash you down), and I'm hoping Leeds was the game that was meant to take it away .
  9. Gonna give this thread a shameless bump to promote Stubhub, as I've won a pair of tickets for the derby from them . Only entered/bought through Stubhub because I was too lazy to phone the OS helpline, laziness pays well aha
  10. They'll probs find away to counter sue, all the companies are merging and sharing patents to scare the competition.
  11. They are making a come back now, they missed the boat (Nokia didn't believe there would be a large market) and left it very late before entering the android market and have invested heavily to catch up and compete. Note: I'm not a tech/phone geek, done a small project at uni on it.
  12. The new Samsung and Nokia phones are meant to be better.
  13. Did you ever complete it? aha My mate used to throw his Nokia over his house, all that happened was the back would fall off and the battery fall out. Stick it back together and it was fine. They're unbreakable, should be in the engineering hall of fame.
  14. Obvious dive, plus the player moaning to the ref is worth a minimum of a 3 match ban in my eyes. The whole of Ireland missed out on the WC because of cheating, teams have been relegated from it or unjustly won trophies or Euro qualification. Needs a severe punishment as missing a player for 1 is hardly a punishment. Persistent offenders should be docked points, soon cut it out.
  15. Nokia 3310, and then you're sorted for life.
  16. What's the point, they'll just cover it up.
  17. Against WBA he said he'd usually stick it out for the draw, but tried to force the win instead. First time he's shown a winning mentality in my eyes, he's always been overly cautious and it cost more points than it wins.
  18. He's let a lot go tbf, both teams kicking shite out of each other so at least he's consistent. Other than Wisdom's yellow, he won the ball imo. Lukaku has been playing well, reminds me of Anichebe, but with a bit more to him. Wouldn't mind him at Everton.
  19. Has Mulumbu had a bet on getting sent off in the first half?
  20. WBA fans were singing "can we play you every week" Although it's 1-1 now.
  21. Button's had more unforced problems with his car this season. To still be this close shows how awful Lewis is
  22. Cameron in his speech put all the blame on the Yorkshire police, choosing his words wisely to avoid any connotation the government had in the whole affair. Pissed me off. On Mackenzie, to borrow Pete Price's favourite word, flabbergasted but not surprised. It's disgusting how they're all passing on the blame and not admitting their part, disgrace of a nation.
  23. With the amount of money in football up 40%? since he joined for £15 mil, I really struggle to see how £20 mil can be a serious offer as standard inflation would be £16.2 mil, making our development worth less than £3.8 and the increase in revenue negligible although evidence suggests otherwise with average players going for double what they used to. £35 mil would be a minimum in my eyes and that's only because of player power (he still has a few years on his contract though), he's considerably better than Modric anything less and we're getting robbed. Even then I'll still be gutted what ever the price he goes for. As you say smells of bull..
  24. I was searching for this one originally, but thought the one above was good. Edit: I'm in a reggae mode, chill out after the shambles of yesterday
