  1. Duffy, when asked about the up and comers. ' There's Ross obviously and I think Conor McAleny's got a big future too.'
  2. Whoops of the day, Canizares posted a naked pic of his wife on twitter. http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/liga-bbva/canizares-publica-una-foto-mujer-desnuda-twitter-2041101?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=diario_sport
  3. This is Everton, all wages are considerable. The players share one Tesco bag-4-life, and have to do multiple trips to the boot of their cars. Wallace has lost out on his time share in the bag, so has to make do with a towel http://yfrog.com/ode1rvxj
  4. Even though the standard of play is below the men's and they play less, I'd understand where they're coming from, If women's tennis was as commercially beneficial, but I assume it isn't. It woud be sexist to give them equal pay when they don't add as much to the attraction/revenue generated, and purely for the pay just to be the same.
  5. Really, you're getting boring now. How many times you going to ask me? Wheres your point? Pick out the 6 most memorable games from each season. 2011/12 Liverpool (H), Man U (A), Bolton (H), Liverpool (A), Sunderland (FaA), Liverpool (Fa). A cunt of a ref. Three of the most sickening defeats ever, a great draw but with possible the worst defending I've witnessed from a Moyes side. We beat City at home but it werent a great game, possible other notable games: Sunderland(FaH and H), Newcastle, and Swansea. Battered Sunderland but finished 1-1, then the other games the team done their job with the opposition rolling over. I had a season ticket the year we finished 17th and I wasn't as disheartened by the results and football we played that year compared to this. Make of that what you will... 2010/11 Man U (H), Man City (A), Blackpool (H), Chelsea (FaA), Man City (H), Chelsea (H). Great draw got robbed by the whistle. Dogged win at City (I was at this one, you know because that makes a whole difference about the validity of my opinion), Goals galore but awful defending. Baines last minute fk. Leon Osman header and denting Citys title hopes, and their egos as we played them off the park. Beckfords mazy run and the demolition of Chelsea, only finished 2-1 but could have easily been 5. CBA going through other games but the football was more fluid and entertaining.
  6. Feel like giving Radwanska a hug, gutted for her. (Still women's Tennis is rubbish).
  7. Thought Eddie was more of a tit than usual today, felt like he was trying to get di Resta sacked or at least put his foot in it.
  8. Earlier on listened to Ice Cube - Fuck the Police. Don't know why, but somehow it just goes well with the sunshine
  9. Your comparing a notably slow starting team's form after we got his signing when we already in form beating Man City w/o him. So I said a fairer comparison is after xmas for the last 2 seasons. Our views on what good football consists of must greatly differ. Last season I was happy to see us beating clubs without getting out of second gear, that we've previously been lacking when playing the lower teams and hope it continues in to next season. But the season before we were less systematic and more entertaining playing teams off the park. I think how we played last season was the worst football since 07, the tactics have gone stale and we need a big revamp for this season.
  10. We lost players to give the others higher wages so the wages should be in line with our income. I assume the new wages will be borrowed on the future tv revenue, and will stick at the 70%, expect the squad to get huge pay rises once the tv money kicks in (possibly lower ticket prices as well).
  11. Thats for last season only, compare that to the season he had before were he was more useless than the Yak. To make it fair compare Everton in the second half of the season when he left in 2011 and when he came back in 2012. We played much better without him.
  12. Button starting from 18th, got unlucky with the yellow flags, still he should be doing better than that.
  13. Park is massive in Asia, QPR will make most of that money back on shirts. Pienaar has 2 seasons left at best (of which some of that time could be in jail). It's a disgusting waste of money for a club of our financial position. There is no proof he'd get us more points so more revenue. We always come back after xmas. We played better football without him on our good run in 2010/11 compared to last season. Also note last season was Pienaars best for us, a flash in the pan peak - when he's after a contract/return. Unless on loan and not paying his full wage, it's an absolutely awful decision.
  14. Commercial value and all round better player than Pienaar. Would get more seasons out of him as he's not a party boy either.
  15. Watching Paper Man and just realised how bad Ryan Reynolds is at acting, most movies he's in are terrible as well. Think this would have been a 7-8 out of 10 with a better actor. Green Lantern, Wolverine, Definitely Maybe, Just Friends, Smokin' Aces, The Amityville Horror, Blade Trinity all suck. He adds nothing to Adventure Land and ruins Paper Man Only liked him in Waiting, Van Wilder, and 2 guys and a girl (thought he was the weakest in it) which aren't exactly challenging roles. How's he still been getting work for all these years?
  16. Fourth Official ‏@Fourth_Official Steven Pienaar is coming home #efc Booh! If we've paid a fee and giving him Arteta wages no wonder the clubs finances are shit. Apologies if my 4th Official copy and pasta are annoying anyone. He/She has been told Moyes is hoping to bring in 6-7 players.
  17. Aston Villa - Karem El Ahmandi Fulham - Riether (loan), Petric (free) Newcastle - Bigirimana, Amalfitano Out: Wayne Bridge has gone to Brighton - season long loan.
  18. Fourth Official ‏@Fourth_Official Park Ji-Sung having a medical with QPR over the weekend, great signing that! #QPR #MUFC He has all the attributes of a Moyes type of player: energetic, versatile, loyal, and respective. Gutted, always hoped he'd come to us if he left United.
  19. who has the most potential in the squad? Distin: I like Conor McAleny. He trained with us a few times last season and he always looked like he could be in the squad.
  20. Great start, but slowed. Murray seemed a bit moody today, hope the crowd get behind him and give him a lift in the final. as you've pointed out he's playing well below Federer's level today.
  21. His name is Dave, from the Valley. (Apologies to the Welsh members)
  22. Nerds will love this one.
  23. Fourth Official ‏@Fourth_Official Hugo Rodellega set to hold talks with Everton over the weekend however he will also hold talks with other clubs
