Why don't you start singing it first, and we'll all totally join in after?
  2. Hibbo. Neville doesn't have a chance at right back based on Hibbo's current form.

Looked like Stracqualursi to me. Top drawer flick-on, that. Massively impressed with Drenthe, Vellios and Stracqualursi. Small squad me arse

We could do with Drenthe here purely to put Wigan on the backfoot, allowing us to attack them as they backpeddle. Would be a shame to take Bily off when he's looking sharp. I'd like to see Bily in the middle, Drenthe on the left.

At the risk of repeating myself... Bily's having a very good game. EDIT: @scouse: http://viasattv.blogspot.com/2011/09/viasat2.html

Pay attention Ossie, that was a quality ball from Bily.

    Billy very sharp so far.

Cahill was quality up front last week and Vellios deserves to be on the bench for because of his great cameo. I often question Moyes but I can imagine all the same "FFS Moyes" people moaning if he had started Saha and it didn't work and questioning why he 'fixed' a problem that didn't exist.

Saha NOT happy on Twitter right now...
  10. And unless the southerners decide to contest the breakdown/scrums/line-outs in a manner than even vaguely resembles physicality then a sneaky bet on whichever Northern team it is in the final would be very much called for. Southerners playing more and more like rugby leaguers every year and because of that we're going to continue to be able to compete well above our skill level. That was obvious for all to see today, the Irish forwards absolutely murdered their Aussie counterparts and they kept coughing up penalties because of it.
  11. Haven't felt like this since the Heineken Cup final. Amazing result. We've got a real chance of making the final now.
  12. The demo is just 6 months of the full game. There's no difference barring a possible release day patch. Any potential African gems, Louis? Why don't you stick in a -10 from Eritrea and tell nobody but us?
  13. FIFA11 was great, just because you didn't like it didn't make it shit.
  14. I'd go with the previously linked one purely because I much prefer the Intel chips to the AMD ones. AMD have been behind the curve for years at this point.
  15. It provides balance when the central defender steps into the left/right channel when that full back bombs forward. Also, it makes the defender more comfortable with the foot further away from the pressing forward when the two centre backs spread wide after the goalkeeper picks up a loose ball forward and prepares for a throw-out. If the centre-back is on the 'wrong' side then their natural instinct is to cut the ball back inside onto their stronger foot. Many of the mistakes leading to goals you see centre-backs make are down to this very tendency. On current form, Heitinga deserves to be starting, yes. But at the expense of Jagielka, not Distin.
  16. Yeah, he freely admitted that he's unfit. Moyes has said as much too. But I think he's a pretty built unit even when fully fit, his biceps are massive!!
  17. If you had offered me that at the start, I would've taken it. Given our form recently, a good team performance was very much needed. Drenthe looks a bit mint. Coleman, Osman, Cahill, Baines, Rodwell, Hibbert all sharp. Barkley and Vellios good cameos. Hopefully we can push on from here, COYB.
  18. Ditto, speed/reliability over quality if possible...
  19. Don't think either have them have played much if at all in 2 months. Drenthe especially was shut out from Madrid and had been training alone for the past month.
  20. Subs: Mucha, Neville, Barkley, Drenthe, Gueye, Stracqualursi, Vellios Villa: Given, Hutton, Collins, Dunne, Warnock, N'Zogbia, Petrov, Delph, Agbonlahor, Heskey, Bent
  21. Plenty of really good, recent free games out at the moment.. Team Fortress 2 is quality. If on an older computer, try Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
  22. You have to admit that the board are pretty brilliant at timing their 'accouncements'....
  23. Very rarely. But 99% of the time there is a open-source alternative to the proprietary software you often use on Windows. These have the obvious advantage of being free. In addition, they also usually have a range of plug-ins and add-ons available to expand their features as anyone can legally edit the software. Also, nearly every program is easily found, downloaded and installed in 2-3 clicks thanks to the Ubuntu Software Centre and the Update Manager makes sure these programs are up to date. The software I currently use most often on Ubuntu are: Internet: Firefox (Prefer Firefox to Opera on Linux as Firefox works extremely well on it) Office: LibreOffice (As good or better than MS Office with none of the cost) Music: Clementine (There's a range of media players available, and the native client, Banshee, is well integrated with the OS. For those wondering, iPhones/iPods do work with Ubuntu) Email: Evolution (Thunderbird is also available, but I prefer this) Twitter: TweetDeck (Bit controversial as Gwibber, the native program, is so well integrated with the OS but I just prefer TweetDeck's columns) Chat: Empathy (The native chat client, works really well with MSN/AIM and is well integrated) Photo editing: Shotwell photo editor/GIMP. (Shotwell is brilliant for really quick, basic edits to photos. For more advanced, Photoshop-level stuff, GIMP is perfect) P2P: Deluge (The best torrent client, bar none) The main advantages to Ubuntu: 1) It's free! 2) It's remarkably easy to use. In fact I'd go as far to say it's far more user-friendly than Windows. Once you discover the Software Centre you wonder how you ever lived without it. 3) It's ridiculously fast. I can go from cold to my desktop in 12 seconds! Also it's not burdened by all that excess shite you don't need on Windows, especially if you bought your PC from Acer or Dell.. 4) No viruses. At all. No need for bloated and expensive security software that slows down your computer either. 5) It's customisable. The default interface is brilliant but if you want to you can make it look completely different. 6) Programs all update using the Update Manager with no set-up. No more logging on to your computer and being greeted by a dozen dialogue boxes from programs wanting to update. 7) It's very powerful. You have complete control over the OS and the computer. For many this is the main advantage, but if you're not a techy it won't be relevant to you. And if you are a techy then shame on you for needing me to explain how brilliant the Terminal is in Linux! Disadvantages: 1) Gaming. That's the big one. Very few games are designed to run on Linux natively. Though, there are easy solutions to this. There's a program called Wine, which I'm sure our Mac users are familiar with, that allows Linux and Mac users to play PC games. An easier solution is simply to set-up a dual-boot when you are installing Ubuntu. This partitions your hard-drive into two sections, one running Ubuntu and the other running your Windows installation. I have it set up 80/20, with Windows getting 20% of my hard-drive space. I simply switch-over whenever I want to play FM or something like that.
