  1. Pip on Mirallas: “He trained with us for the first time last Sunday and no word of a lie, his first touch ended up in the top left corner”
  2. Who knows really. Only thing that's certain is the transfer window closes next Friday and we'll know by then, I suppose!
  3. Ward is not good enough for Everton. And I know him personally. Also that bastard fractured my wrist a decade ago *shakes fist*

Definition of a bogey team for us....
  5. Arma2's graphics are brilliant. Not the best, but on ultra high it's very pretty. And the map is *massive*. Definitely recommend the game. Haven't played the DayZ mod tho.
  6. Just started a Half-Life 2 playthrough for the first time in ages. Good news is that it runs on very high settings at a steady 60 FPS on my new Air. Bad news is that I reached Ravenholm last night when it was dark and nearly shat my pants.
  7. Yeah, had some kopite family over last night and even they were talking about how good Gary Neville was. Top class pundit. That Ed Chamberlain guy is a fucking wanker though.
  8. Fellaini was majestic that half.
  9. Walcott 2011/2012: 46/11/13... Apps/Goals/Assists. Yes fukn please.
  10. That's the key for me, when you compare to to the frankly ridiculous fees for players like Jarvis, Fletcher etc. it looks a great bit of business. Over to him now, really. He has one attribute that is really in his favour - pace. Even when your touch/movement isn't yet up to PL standard, your pace can always make you shine.
  11. I'm only back here a day or two and I already remember why I thought you were a massive tit.
  12. SSN broke it via yellow bar too. God I fucking love when that yellow bar pops up with an Everton signing.
  13. Don't particularly fancy us. We need a big midfield performance to keep possession and try and get our relatively slow creative players in Baines, Pienaar and Osman into the game. No matter how hard he works, we just can't hoof the ball up to Jelavic and expect him to hold it up against United. Unfortunately a game too early for us, we would have a better chance if we had completed those 2 signings Moyes was talking about (especially if they had some pace) - though big teams bring big performances from us, and we always have a chance when people write us off. If we're looking to get anything out of this game then Fellaini, Gibson and Pienaar are going to need to show up, and Jelavic has to be fucking ruthless in front of goal. 2-1 United.
  14. Don't think we're short in the middle - though if we don't bring in any wide/attacking players we will feel it if we lose people in the centre. Players like Ossie/Fellaini/Pienaar are cover for 2-3 different positions atm.
  15. Good deal all round IMO - as long as we reinvest ~10-12m of it. Been really disappointed with Jack in the last 12-16 months and he's definitely stagnated in his development. With Gibbo, Felli and Barkley we won't miss him overly. Hope he does well at City, he's always seemed like a great lad.
  16. Dangerous moment for my productivity as I switch to OSX from ArchLinux and realise that I can play Football Manager
  17. I'd be fine with that as long as the process was "We're issuing more shares, you can either put your money where your mouth is or I'm diluting all of your stakes in the club"
  18. Yes, do tell us about Danny. Because absolutely none of us know him at all.
  19. You're allowed do whatever you want, but voting on a match you haven't seen skews the vote. How can you vote on who the best player is when you didn't actually see them play for yourself? You're just voting based on the opinion of the radio commentator/match report writer. I wasn't a live witness to this game either, but I saw it. I'm not saying you're not a fan or whatever for not watching it, just that the idea that you can have an informed MOTM opinion is laughable.
  20. Why do you vote on games you haven't seen?
