I hear what you are saying. But what is the answer? Why have those clubs got more money than us? Pompey? Wigan? Fer chrissake what makes them so bloody wealthy over us?

I think Arteta would be likely to consider leaving only if Real Madrid or Barcelona came in for him to be fair. Or perhaps Manure.

Naughton to Spurs so we missed out on him. But why is that? In all but money we are a better club to sign for as we are consistently up towards the top of the league over the past few seasons. In all but money................... Well there's the answer I suppose. We are still a big club, with big ambitions and a big history. Unfortunately, love them or hate them, we are run by people with small minds, or small pockets. (I suspect a bit of both.)

We have British Eurosport over here. I am not sure what the difference is apart from the language that the commentary is in. Thanks for the heads up though, it could be something to look out for.

If they manage to sign John Terry, I would consider a 20 million plus bid PLUS John Terry for Lescott. Other than that they can whistle up their backsides as far as I am concerned.

I admit that I am not in favour of a move to Kirkby at all. However that has no bearing on my next comment. This is now dragging on and on, a bit too much, and I am of the opinion that it is about time the Club dropped the whole thing and had a rethink. There have been many options pondered over,(move within the city, ground share, Goodison redevelopement etc) and I wonder if any of them had been given serious thought, whether the associated issues would have been dealt with already. I really do think that persisting with Kirkby is getting us nowhere right now.

I like the new ruling. I prefer to see an honest effort at spelling that may be wrong than txt chat which shows ignorance and a disrespect of the other folks that want to read the post. So what if your spelling is not perfect, at least it shows you are trying and are attempting to put a point across. Yes I know my spelling is a bit dodgy at times too, but to revert to txt speak is just plain ignorant. (Just my own opinion by the way)

When has Moyes acted fast in the transfer window. (Apart from last minute signings that is.) He will not be rushed or held to ransom over a player. I am not sure it is altogether a good thing, but it has it's merits.

Apparently the only way Lescott will be sold is by the board as Moyes says nobody is getting sold. Bill says he supports Moyes. Thats that then.

What would I like to win? The title of course. I am of the mind that we should at least try for it. (Yes I understand that some folks are sure we can't win it, and I am similarly minded, but if you don't try then you will never know what you can achieve) Realistically I think we should concentrate on a cup win. The Europa one will do nicely, but at the same time I wouldn't throw any of them away. WE DESERVE A TROPHY!!!!

I agree. I don't know how the yellow and red cards can be translated. But I would still like Moyes to work his magic on the guy. And he to work his magic on the field. I mean watching Gerrard fly into row Z would be worth the price alone surely?

Well, you could go to Photobucket (or similar) and type 'Everton' into the search engine, then see what comes up. Perhaps the club badge would be nice right in the middle.

I always believed that a football team should score goals. It doesn't matter if the opposition scores so long as you score more than them. If both teams are free scoring then the entertainment value is higher. A 4 - 3 win is better than a 1 - 0 sort of thing. (You may not agree) Anyway, just a thought on tactics that you may have a better opinion on. If the Yak and Saha play up front, could Jo get in behind the front two? It would mean dropping someone else from midfield though, unless we went with five across the middle of the park. Anyone got any ideas on this??

I think making it work properly is the most important, then followed by making it easy, then and only then, making it look good. Just my opinion mind you, I think you all do a fair job at it anyway. I am not much of a one for changes until it is all done and dusted. So I suppose my opinion is not that important. (Especially as I do not post as much as many others)
