  1. And it was bloody years ago, think that Jeffers was the scorer.
  2. It is, Modern Warefare 2 is set for a November 10th release. It was announced months ago.
  3. The love story of Ralph and Edna... Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. Ralph and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool. Ralph suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled him out. When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable. When she went to tell Edna the news she said, 'Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged, since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of the person you love. I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness. The bad news is, Ralph hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead.' Edna replied, 'He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?'
  4. Indeed! I got Rafa impaled on a spike twice which wasn't all that bad. Kick One: 182.74m Kick Two: 119.64m Kick Three: 72.48m
  5. First of all I don't think that SAF will get the boot after a game like this, it was a mistake but he'll be kept in charge and will come close to doing the full cup victory once again this season. Vidic didn't play like he can and looked like the same player that got riddled by Fernando Torres that game, most of the United team failed to make impact and there needs to be some changes come summer. Berbatov came out and said that he would be reluctant to take a penalty after he missed against us. I think that that has shook his all round game because he hasn't looked like the world-class player everyone made him out to be. He could well have had his last season under the Old Trafford roof.
  6. There you have it, Barcelona win the Champions League this season, adding to their current record of the Copa del Rey and La Liga (this season) well done to them. Lionel Messi ran the show out there.
  7. A bad leg and a black eye. Christ, I never knew that Moeys was such a good fighter
  8. Even Alan Hansen managed to get into trouble with the whole Escóbar case for his comments towards an Argentinian defender.
  9. How much are Newcastle in the shit. Half of their team are too good for the Championship and will surely look for a new club. Fabricio Collocini Jose Enrique Kevin Nolan (moved from Bolton to achieve greater things) Joey Barton (think he is definatly out the door) Obefimi Martins (from Inter Milan to second division) Micheal Owen (will want first team place in the race for World Cup placements) Damien Duff (although he's pledged his future to them) Sebastian Bassong Steve Harper (veteran, doubt he will leave) Ryan Taylor Alan Smith (ex-Manchester United now Championship) Shola Ameboi (shown signs of excellence, lower Premiership team would have him) Peter Lovenkrands Steven Taylor (Everton would do well with him and I'm pretty sure Mark likes him )
  10. I'm not that well up on Naughton but he looks the buisness, he plays in a position that we need to fill and with his age this could be a summer transfer signing worth cheering about. From that talk he is already going to be our summer signing, not heard much about him either to be honest. They have linked us with Pavlyuchenkho which I would hate to see come off, if he does make it to Goodison Park he will have to improve drastically. Not the player that everyone expected at Tottenham Hotspur. Would much rather have Alan Smith or Micheal Owen.
  11. This is old news to be honest, we always knew that he was going to leave. That goal he scored against Standard Liege is one that he will always be remembered for. He did a good job whenever he played, just not good enough to earn him a contract here at Everton. The spanish team that he looks set to join could allow him to get back to his best and become a great player. We shall never forget those low socks All the best Casti.
  12. New news. Hope they get the store up and running soon, I want my new season shirt already.
  13. I agree with Billy. Celtic must make an offer for David Moyes because of who he is, he has played for them and would no doubt get the SPL back with them and allow them to push for greater things in the Champions League. The thing that Celtic have forgotten is that Davey simple won't go. He has an FA Cup game against Chelsea to put his mind on and has said he wants silverware at this club. The mission is not over yet for him and I really doubt he would make a step down to manage Celtic up Scotland.
  14. I doubt that people would. At this time people other than Evertonains have only remembered him for his goal against Liverpool. If an offer did come in it would be for a small sum of cash, not one that would prise him away from Goodison Park. I think that he will have a bright future here at Everton free from offers until he becomes older. A big thanks to him for his fantastic effort throughout the campaign.
  15. Remember this one Leon Osman's goal against Chris Kirkland.
  16. After losing 1-0 at the JJB Stadium in dissapointing circumstances it was great to turn them over at Goodison which was deserved. They are one of the teams, like Newcastle that don't deserve a place in the Premiership. Four good goals that day and it's good to watch this video over.
  17. It's the award that would always go to David Moyes. This season started poorly and it took some real good decisions to turn around. Ever since the Wigan Athletic game the team has gone from strength to strength. We have been such a force this season and Moyes is the reason behind it, if he ever left we would have such problems finding someone as good. With him in charge ahead of the FA Cup final it's all good. Wish him well with that game and the coming seasons.
  18. We have one of the best, if not the best academy out there. Anichebe has always been off the mark and seems to just hold onto the fact that he scored a few vital goals in UEFA. He can't stay just on that basis and he showed what time of man he is when he kicked off with Moyes. Destination Cardiff IMO with Ledley coming the other way. Has me happy anyways, let's get it all on paper.
  19. It will be a good game of football to watch with Manchester United coming out on top. Barcelona have a great team but Manchester seems to work a lot better and will have the edge out there tonight. Cristiano Ronaldo will run the midfield and Wayne Rooney will be out in attack causing much problems for the Barcelona defence. In my opinion it will be 3-1 to United. Rooney Scholes (is he playing? If he does I have a feeling he will score) C.Ronaldo No prizes for guessing who Platini is supporting
