  1. The whole dual citizenship is a sham. The talk of Manuel Almunia and Carlo Cudicini is a pathetic way of improving the national squad. If we did get anywhere in the World Cup then it woulden't feel right having a Spanish goalkeeper. It's crazy and it shoulden't happen, like Louis said we would have access to the likes of Ronaldo and Cahill because of the documents they possess. It would make international football the same as club, and that's not right.
  2. Doubt that this one will pull off. He seems to much like the Yak or Vic to make the move, the price tag that he would come with is large and his return woulden't be all that impressive. I'd say that he'll go to Italy like Jamie said, won't be a Newcastle thats for sure
  3. Real Madrid are still a good team and would attract anyone to them. Kaka' is known around the world as one of the best and he would certainly fit into the Madrid setup. With the poor season that they have had they will want to spend as much money as they can to save themselves from becoming a mid-table club. The honours list is one of the finest around (most Champions League wins) and they are in a very challenging league. Madrid are still a force, and will be for some time.
  4. I'm sure that Rooney and Radzinski did photo-shoots for the new kits the season that they left.
  5. O'Neil looked a good player from his time at Portsmouth but I'm unsure how his performance might have dropped at Middlesbrough. They looked poor all season and so did he, I think that if we signed him then we would be taking a risk. David Bentley seems like someone who I would rather have, I think that out of those two under performers David would be the better. We will have to see what Moyes does, at the end of the day I'm happy with what he decides to do. And wasn't it O'Neil who had that spell of scoring goals from miles out? I remember one past Tim Howard from the halfway line in the game at Fratton Park.
  6. When the final whistle went I was fine, but now...I don't know, my heart has just totally sank
  7. Pretty much agree with what was said there, apart from I don't think we was bad, just outplayed. Neville for me, top captains display.
  8. I guess it wasn't to be, best team won on the day.
  9. Chelsea are attacking the side purely because Hibbert is not up to top performance. He has allowed Essien to get behind him and against Chelsea he's bloody asking for a goal. We should never have conceded and it was a mixture of Hibbo and Lescott for the the blame. Hibbert should have stopped the cross coming in. Lescott should have actually got into the air and made Drogba work. Let's not lose to a shite goal, let's make Chelsea work for this game and see which team really wants this
  10. I don't really know what to make of that half. We scored the goal and looked like a good force for the first twenty minutes. Even when Drogba scored we looked like the better team, since the 20 minute mark we drifted off and allowed Chelsea into the game. We simply can't let Lampard/Essien behind the ball in and around the box. The pressure must be kept high and we need to take all that we can from this game. We beat Cech after a few seconds and he has looked bloody shakey all game, it's time to test if he is the keeper that he's meant to be. I personally think that with Cahill, Pienaar and Saha we can have this game all in the bag come second half, we just need to believe. Saha, quickest goal in an FA Cup final.
  11. He could score a few goals yes, but I doubt that he would ever become an overall top scorer. With strikers such as Rooney and Adabayor (names off the top of my head) scoring week in and week out I don't think that he would be able to keep up with them. He could do well for us and put in some high numbers but I really can't imagine him challenging the big boys.
  12. We are getting support from many clubs. Thanks a lot mate
  13. Leeds fans arn't happy about this at all, I am. He seems a good player and would do well behind Baines in the Everton pecking-order. I guess Leeds fans are a little angry with his decisions to leave
  14. Good to hear from you again FromBelgium. I give the best of luck to Liege next season and I really hope they can do something special in the Champions League As for us, thanks for your comments. We seem to have a huge fanbase for the game this afternoon, I really really hope we can win and have silverware on the table.
  15. Yeah I think that he will most likely join Birmingham/Burnley
  16. Look at Ronaldinhio, he was the best player by far at one stage and now he's not really heard of. A player that thinks they are bigger than the club should have no place within the team. He's going to bring Manchester United millions and millions when he is sold and it could be the best time to cash in. Not to mention the delight of seeing him away from the Premiership. I think he will actually, they are spending big in an attempt to regain the La Liga trophy. He'll join in their hunt in my opinion.
  17. Such a shame, I always like Valente and thought that if he had not have had his injuries then he could he been one of our best players. I hope that he does get the last place on the bench but I don't know if that will happen now, his contract seems to be up (without renewal) so he could, like Van der Meyde jump ship. The best of luck to him wherever he goes, I was ecstatic when we signing him and hoped that he could bring so much more
  18. Will watch the final from the comfort of my own home. I sat on the floor last time so that when we won I didn't have to fall very far, I'm going to do the same this time at the final and just pray for a win. I'm actually not nervous about the game because we are underdogs and have nothing to lose, I'm going to enjoy every minute of it, and I'm going to love watching Phil lift up that trophy Mustard and Ketchup :sick01:
  19. Southampton get more and more into the shit as they tell player they will not be getting a pay cheque. BBC Sport
  20. Just thought I'd let everyone know that I'm having a good week off
  21. This is the right way for Burnley if they want to have any success in the Premiership.
  22. Yes, let's leave it at that then. Was this whole drama when I was around Aaron? Leaving the forum makes me think it got bloody out of hand. I was only having friendly banter with Sprooly. I think that if England did play Australia it would be a close contest
  23. Mike, look at the first post
  24. No chance, a comfortable victory for us English methinks And correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that Australia are yet to win the World Cup
