  1. that was shite. not enough created for all our pressure. We had no ideas on how to break them down. Saha looked good, Yak didn't have a good game, nor did Osman while Cahill didn't do a lot either. I thought Fellaini played well myself, dropped back a bit in the second half a bit but still holds and plays the ball round well and gets stuck in as well though his tackles are still pretty awful!
  2. vaughan lookin pissed off at once again Anichebe getting brought on ahead of him
  3. I think we should be getting piennar and vaughan on for yak and osman. osman's done pretty much nothing and Yak is looking lazy. need to make changes soon as not much happening at the moment.
  4. 3-1!!!!! getttinnnnn Saha again! West Ham fallen apart from the sound of it.
  5. 2-1!!!!! GETTTT INNN Another late show, were feckin jammy with these late goals but i'll take it! Saha
  6. I take it he was too tired from last weeks game to play this weeks? Not even in on the bench
  7. no worries about Cahill and Fellaini playing same position, they both get so many cards they can come in and out between suspensions! Fellaini now suspended! Cahill just back. no doubt Cahill will probably pick up his first yellow towards next suspension this weekend!
  8. ahhhh 3 points from a shite performance and i got to watch an awesome game between Spurs and Arsenal! glad ours wasn't like that to be honest though, i'd have had a heart attack!
  9. AT FUCKKKING LAST!!! GOOOALLLLL Fellaini with his 3rd
  10. fuckin delap and his throw again. own goal from jags.
  11. 2-1, long throw causes Howard to flap it out and onto a Stoke player to finish well.
  12. it was worked between a few players including tim. Nice touch and finish from Yak, exactly what he does best. Decent half from Fellaini, been involved a lot, wins everything in the air both attacking and defending and plays it around nicely. Still got a lot to learn about the rest of his team of course but looks to have potential. Castillo looks decent enough as well, not seen as much of him but a decent defensive midfield rock that can play the ball around. this line up certainly shouldn't be conceeding goals with 4 at the back and 2 decent DM's. Hope a few of you got on paddypowers offer through the OS with Yak at 10/1 to score first.
  13. everyone's put Yobo in their teams for this weekend but as far as I can see he's out injured for a couple of weeks. Osman is also out so he won't be in the side. maybe: Howard Neville Jags Lescott Valente Fellaini Arteta Baines Yak Vaughan erm.....not sure who else to stick in midfield, pretty scary really how lacking we are at the moment with no opportunity to get anyone else! don't see Castillo starting, according to the bbc rodwell is a doubt, no hibbert so nev will be in defence, baines will have to play wing, Arteta will end up stuck on the wing but who else fits in I don't know!
  14. big interest in Stoke but no interest in us.
  15. As soon as i heard this on SSN I thought this is going to be us. The fact that we've been linked plenty of times before makes me think he will be ours. While no one likes the buggar and none of us want to see him play for us I'm sad to say i'd take any resonable midfield player now and if he stays fit and doesn't get himself in more trouble then he is a decent midfield player.
  16. latest speculation suggests we'll not get him till January.
  17. Line up pending transfers: ------Howard------ Jacobsen---Yobo---Lescott---Baines Messi---Arteta---Castillo---Robinho ------Yakubu----Obinna----- Bench: Turner, Moutinho, Zigic, Vaughan, Neville, J Cole, Anichebe I reckon there's enough there to see off Stoke
  18. Team: Howard Neville, Lescott, Yobo, Baines Osman, Arteta, Rodwell, Jagielka Vaughan, Yak Bench: Anichebe, Jacobsen, Turner, Valente, Baxter, Wallace and Kissok. Still the same weak looking team made up of too many defenders but I think getting Vaughan in from the start will be good, he made a big difference when he came on last week. Hopefully a few new faces to the squad for the next game.
  19. I'd like to put my name down for left wing, hard working, bag loads of pace and will pick up the odd goal. please let me know before midday as I need a flight to get me there!
  20. Beeb's squad lists are normally wrong so don't take any notice. team must be ------------Howard---------- Neville---Jags---Yobo---Lescott ------------Rodwell--------- Osman---Arteta----Baines? ------Yak-----Vaughan----- I don't see him doing much different to that, it's going to be a very defensive line up whatever with lots of defensive players available compared to the attacking players. Can't see what we can do with the left wing over than baines. Not sure exaclty where gosling plays and don't know how he's been playing but would expect Rodwell to get the place over him as the defensive mid role. Subs, anyone with 2 legs and a pair of boots who currently has a squad number.
  21. not much in the middle of midfield today with rodwell and neville, even more defensive than our favourite carsley, neville combo!
  22. sounds like a copy of that Sky 1 program that had a couple of series with Chelsea.
  23. shit, that lad beats everyone in the air. need a goal now, deserve one but we haven't really created that much.
  24. i think the game really showed how small our squad was. who's injured, vaughan, Anichebe (what's wrong with him?), Fernandes and Cahill. and all of a sudden we only have defenders on the bench. as mentioned earlier, what happend to gravesson. not saying he would have made much of a difference but he's more attacking than nevillie and carsley and would have saved us sending lescott up front. he seemed fit enough to make the bench on wednesday so what's up with him now? dissapointing game, i think johnson was a major blow, fulham played well in the first half but were lacking a final ball. they got the goal through dodgy defending but they desereved something from it. what annoyed me was the commentator that kept saying that he didn't understand why moyes wasn't bringing on a sub in the last 10. who does he bring on? rodwell, a defender with less than an hours professional football, valente, a left back who's crosses and attacking play can bet hit or miss or Wessells, never heard of him playing an attacking role! unfortuantely the 11 players that started was our best attacking side available and we had no second option. europe definatley isn't over those who suggest it is, champions league obviously now relies on us beating rather than just getting a draw against liverpool, and outscoring them against the 2 top 3 teams we play as well as not dropping any more lower placed sides. unlikely but not impossible.
