    Some highly respected football scouts think this guy could be a great buy and believe he already has the lot. Can and will improve most teams. Could be an exciting addition, if the talks are true.

    Anybody watching him could tell you he was/is shite. No room for sentiments in some capacity (for Ron) but in other ways (Stek) he can't fuck them off. Don't care if he's on a free if he's not going to add anything. Might as well hire me, i'll play for £5k a week and my agent (the mrs) only wants a 4 bedder.

    I don't understand that. If he's not going to sign (with a year left), are we not better putting a more realistic (£30m) valuation on him with the hope of someone meeting it. Then to value him out of a move, He stays for another year and looks half arsed whilst running down his contract to leave for free?

    For me, then only advantage to this deal is a 'name' signing, which might persuade other players that we can attract names.
