I am happy either way, he is a very good player, not as fast, but good energy and reading of the game make up for that. Unlikely to start unless there are injuries, but a great insurance policy. In his final year so saving his wages now wont help FFP until next window, I think?

I think Coady and Tarks, and all the defense for that matter cover for each other which is great, they are a proper unit, and will get better with every game. Coady will help players like Godfrey improve, he has obvious physical and footballing talent that Coady and Tarks will sharpen with their experience.

He just had a poor game, it happens, especially with young players. He found it hard to get into the game as everything went through Grey, who played very well. I'm sure Frank, Coady and the squad know how to handle it, and I think being subbed was the right thing. If we could hold off on the pitchfork and dunking instincts for a bit, and see it for what it was, a bad game, that would be nice.
