  1. According to sources in Italy a deal with Chelsea is almost done- how reliable that is I don't know tho?
  2. Yep Lookman deserves a start and the young players need to be rotated.
  3. I agree young players need to rest and Tom has played allot recently. If Morgan had been fit and McCarthy had not put country before common sense he would have had a rest by now. He will probably play on Sunday as I don't think Barry can play 2 games in a week, but he should get a break at some point.
  4. True but he will learn so much, from this as will the others. Games like this help them to kick on.
  5. Exactly this, we have some quality young players and they are highly thought of by people who know their football like Walsh, Koeman and Unsworth. They need time to develop and get used to playing in the EPL, some will make it some wont but by having and developing these players is key to our future success. We will add to our squad without cost, and attract other young talent because they know they will get game time.
  6. Really, I thought he was quality against Man City, played well against Spurs and against Man Utd he played well in the first half. I remember us playing against Newcastle in Martinez's first season and Barkley playing an absolute stormer on the counter.
  7. We missed having Morgan or McCarthy in midfield who could have replaced a tiring Barry and added energy. We also needed a better replacement for Barkley. DCL will be a great player, but right now he lacks experience and this lead to us dropping deeper and deeper. We will benefit from the experience of the young players next season. End of the day we put in a much, much better performance than the weekend, we got some confidence back and showed allot of game craft for 93 minutes. Whatever Lukaku did or did not say its the heat of the moment, I expect it to be sorted in the dressing room. One point closer to Europe, one game closer to a transfer window where we can show some ambition, one week closer to a new stadium.
  8. Much better performance, deserved the win. We will get some confidence from this.
  9. 4th was never on the cards after our poor October, November and December. Best we can do is take as many points as we can and see where that takes us. As long as we qualify for Europe that's the most important thing it shows progress, makes it easier to recruit the players we need to advance.
  10. Got to get behind Ross and the team, yes they had a bad game but they have been brilliant since the end of December. Everyone has a bad day now and then. I hope they give it a real go against UTD who have been poor at home.
  11. Much better line up, we have to be more attacking and pose a threat.
  12. You only come on hear to slag off Barkley. Fair enough he was poor in the second half, but at lest try and be objective .
  13. I doubt he will play for us again. He will be out injured for a couple of weeks by the time he is back Morgan will be fit. I imagine having gone against Koeman he will be sold in the summer. Shame really as he was a good player before his injuries.
  14. That's why referees must take control of matches to prevent them turning into foul fests, and allow a game of football to break out. Referees have a duty to protect players, if they sent dirty fuckers like Charlie Adam off and made it clear that actions like that would not be tolerated then maybe just maybe we wouldn't have to have this conversation.
  15. Depends who we sign in the summer and if Koeman stays
  16. So your saying that a Republic of Ireland player should have broken a Wales player leg to as you say "Make it right". You do know that this game is called football and not MMA right? You make a valid point that the referee should indeed of sent Bale off for the assault on O'Shea, if he had taken control of the match earlier then arguably some of the heat would have been removed from the game. The standard of refereeing has really declined over the last 3 or 4 years.
  17. Tell me are you a cock 24/7 or do you take time off?
  18. True, Mason will get his chance as Seamus will be out for a very long time sadly. I think he will take his chance with both hands.
  19. I blame O'Neill and Keane, they knew he had problems with his hamstrings, they knew he was just coming back from injury. We told them not to play him and what do they do? Accelerate his recovery and as a result he breaks down. Fucking Cunts both of them.
