  1. missed cahill behind yak in the first one. it was late here, my brain was fried from school.
  2. Has got to be (subs in brackets, because that was a great idea): Howard (Mucha) Neville Heitinga Distin Baines (Jags Duffy) Felli (Rodwell) Coleman Arteta Pienaar (Gueye Osman Bily) Yak (Beckford) Get Saha the fuck out of my club, he's a twat. Should have sold him for 8mil when the offer was tabled. Yak is twice the player he's been for us and Beckford has shown glimpses that put him on par with Saha's end product. I'd also like to see this line-up given a go at "weaker" teams (weaker in quotes cuz we're 16th). Howard Nev Heits Distin Baines Felli Coleman Pienaar Cahill Yak Becks
  3. buzz = distin. apparently he looks like buzz lightyear to some.
  4. utter fucking rubbish. glad my internet was down so I didn't have to sit through that. The whole lot of them can fuck off. and Moyes needs out.
  5. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=846343&sec=england&cc=5901 Warms my heart this. Tevez seems a very good man, ugly, but good. If he really hates money so much, I know a club that would let him play for free, or even pay him in toffee.
  6. perhaps we could sell heitinga if this lad is brought in. Heitinga's price has to have risen since we bought him and he's not done anything worth his wages this term.
  7. you're clearly watching a different pienaar than i was. his movement was one of three positive forces on our side today. he may have found himself lost here and there, but his hurried runs pressed sunderland's defense today and made a lot of baines' crosses and runs possible.
  8. pienaar for me. only others who deserved a shout were baines and coleman. every other player on the pitch can fuck off.
  9. I think Bily was a lot better yesterday. He had some nice link ups with Pip and Mikky, and even made some good stops. I thought he looked better than seamus did yesterday. I think we ought to wait til the summer to make a decision about him, he'd go for more in the summer anyways.
  10. Gave it to Baines. Would have been Fellaini but for that foolish kick on Robinson and the red card. Beckford gets a little shout for a beautiful strike at the death and saving the points.
  11. How about we sign him to a 2 year contract now and sell him in the summer with 18 months left on contract. That would allow us to have him the rest of the season and then sell him in the summer so we're not left without either player or cash.
  12. I'd much rather see Pienaar off to Italy than to Spurs..I don't want to have him attacking our right side.
  13. U2 still fucking sucks. and I've got TC on my kit from last year, so he's at least Everton-class. World-class? Never. If he were, he sure as hell wouldn't be at Everton on 50k a week.
  14. could we talk city into pursuing Pienaar then? I'm sure we could buy 3 landons if they were buying.
  15. yes, in a heart beat. 10 or more weeks of Donovan on the right would do us good, and nothing wrong with putting Coleman on the bench for a bit or giving him some substitute minutes at RB. How much can we get for Pienaar? Enough to buy Lando? If yes, sell him and move onwards and upwards.
  16. Distin for me, nothing got past him, and that run towards the end...could have been brilliant! Timmy and Yak were also immense. Hard to pick out a poor performance, I was even impressed by Bily's 2nd half shift, he ran at them and won some good challenges (more of that please!)
  17. Howard Neville Heitinga Distin Baines Coleman Arteta Osman Bily/Gueye Cahill Yak Moyes will give bily the nod before Gueye, even though I think he ought to be given some minutes. I still like our odds of nicking this one, even without Felli, Peanut and Jags. Don't think the takeover will do too much for them in terms of team spirit.
  18. I'd have Nani, that's it. I was excited the few times we were linked with him. He seems temperamental, but I think Moyes may have been able to sort that out. Other than him, can't think of anyone in their mid-field I'd have. Elsewhere, Berba, Rooney and Vidic are the only ones who would improve our squad.
  19. Kuyt is a great player, apart from the fact he wears red. In the derbies, he worries me more than Gerrard or the Lady Boy. He's a very physical player with a knack for scoring against us, I hope he's not on form for this one. I don't really like our chances. I imagine we'll draw, but a win would certainly be another step in the right direction (and take a bit of fan pressure off DM).
  20. Sticking with Jags. He's english, may as well get used to it.
  21. cream > white. this kit is class. maybe I'll get for xmas.
