  1. Not very nice now, was that? P.s. PM her number, lol!
  2. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/top-10-screwattack/55604 The Dreamcast is ten years old, yet I remember it's release like it was........ er ten years ago. Anyway here is my favourite top ten games on the system for old times sake: 10. Cannon Spike 9. Street Fighter 3 - Third Strike 8. Sega Soccer 2000 7. Ikuruga 6. Resident Evil 1 & Code Veronica 5. Power Stone 1 & 2 4. Capcom vs SNK 1 & 2 3. MSR 2. Soul Calibur 1. Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2 And yes, I hated Shenmue.
  3. It does sound like either Elstone included the drip payments for Felliani and the last payments of Yakubu, or Everton have paid for Jo in the Lescott deal leaving little else for major inbound transfers? Either way, the fact that Billy D transfer fee remains undisclosed suggests he cost nowhere near 9 million. It's so disgusting the way the board treat us, again I say let's hit them where it hurts - the pockets!
  4. Wouldn't go that far about Kilbane as at very least he was a honest hard working player, but totally agree with the rest.
  5. I've been told that Billy had six months left on his contract, if this is true then I very much doubt Everton paid more than 2 million for him upfront. Again I want clarity from our esteemed leaderships, that and the truth!
  6. Think it is you, as what we say has no bearing on the team selection for both clubs what-so-ever.
  7. As I answered a post earlier I asked myself what many of you probably do every game, what kind of manager is Moyes? When he first took over, he was young and hungry. He ripped through that abysmal 2002 team and played youngsters like Chadwick, who were hungry like Moyes was and had a point to prove. The result was exciting (mainly because we weren't used to winning games then) football, and some memorable score lines like 4-3 away to Derby and 2-2 at Chelsea, which Big Dunc scored in both! Then after 2004, I feel he became this predictable manager who relied on defensive prowess, not the attacking football we enjoyed early on. Yes it got us to the Champion League, but then followed the worst points total ever in the Premiership coupled with the lowest goals scored. Up to now I feel he has strayed little from that ethos, and at times (Spurs 0 - 0 at home, 2007 being the best example of poor tactics) that has often been his undoing. I do think he is a great man to man manager, but is too loyal to some and very disloyal to others. The treatment of Marcus Bent when Beattie arrived was horrible, especially when Bent was the better player in the 4-5-1 system. Likewise treatment of Beattie when Johnson arrived was equally shocking, while players like Kilbane, Simon Davies, Osman and Hibbert literally couldn't do anything wrong to get dropped. Maybe he is too over-bearing on the players, but guess we shouldn't believe Rooney now should we? Anyway that's my brief take on Moyes, I look forward to being ripped to pieces or some insightful views of your own.
  8. There's no probably about it, Moyes is caution personified.
  9. Adpom, you must have been very bored to start this thread? I'm excited about both of them, as Arteta makes goals and Yakubu scores them. I hope neither are rushed back, and will be ready for what will inevitably be a long season.
  10. I think Moyes is the problem, judging by that Mike.
  11. Correct it seems. He ducked the important questions, though most were extremely watered down versions of what fans actually asked. I share your cynicism. Well again Elstone smoothly ducked the question regarding how much Billy D cost us, and how much we received directly from Citeh for Lescott. Most of his answers were speculative, but that's good enough for some fans. The funniest thing he said was how Kirby will be radically better than Goodison in every way, that's when I switched off!
  12. That's interesting as the video is only 33 minutes long, some will say unfortunately. Back to Elstone, he said Everton spent the Lescott money and 8 million (3 million on the budget) this summer. Sorry but when he refused to reveal the Billy fee and how much Everton got straight up for Lescott, it sounds like double bluffing. With leadership like this, no wonder the fans are disillusioned.
  13. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2008/08/09/tom-cannon-everton-will-suffer-over-kirkby-stadium-setback-100252-21501206/ It's very interesting to read, especially when professor Cannon said 'how long will Moyes be patient for regarding funds'? Very interesting indeed.
  14. Thanks Louis, hope some of the more pressing answers will be answered. But not holding my breath.
  15. Tell me about it, the Echo are so up the RS arse it's unreal.
  16. Think he is worse than that, but he is better than Nugent.
  17. I'm all for sticking up for the team, but that's pure fantasy.
  18. Think it's pretty obvious now that this is just newspaper waffle, he won't be coming as frankly we don't need another right back with the Het and dare I say Hibbert!
  19. 1) If the injuries clear up, and the squad stay healthy, then an honest 7th position. 2) I think we have improved the squad during the window, but our chances of success have diminished. The weakest area for us (center mid), is still an issue, but overall I'm happier than two weeks before Sept 2nd. 3) Like it, kinda retro but modest. 4) Citeh are a cheap nasty Chinese import toy, which will crack under it's first safety test. Chelski had a lot more grounding and heritage, but money made them believe they are bigger than what they actually are. Frankly I would hope Moyes could spend around 25 million a season, think a constant amount like that would keep him interested and the club moving in the right direction without feeling plastic. Credit to Fulham, as you boys seem to be doing that very well. 5) Not as well as last year, but think you're in for a shout in a cup comp. But the teams around us are building with menace, but you have a good manager who isn't scared to play attacking football (which our manager is guilty of doing the opposite by nature). 6) 1 - 1.
