  1. People moaning about Cahill's not being able to do much apart from the late runs into the box and score is abit harsh imo. He is the only player who ever looks like scoring. I agree we are limited when we play 4-5-1 but i think its not to do with accomodating cahill which slows our attacks down it is due to the lack of quality in the creative midfield area. I do not know what is up with Arteta, he has been woeful this season it seems like he has signed his contract and is not bothered. Constantly passes it sideways and never gets a move going now, its time to drop him and play rodwell who we all know has the ability to play in this role. I agree Moyes needs to get some balls and drop big player like arteta because they are not doing the job. I was impressed by the 4-4-2 formation against Spurs but we were constantly giving the ball away (mainly arteta) and looking susceptible on the counter. We looked dodgy at times and Saha is possibly the laziest striker i have seen and yes i have seen Yakubu. I still believe Moyes is the right man, although if i do have to critise him i would say his substitutions come way to late in the game and he needs to drop his big players ie Arteta and Jags. Give Beckford more starts and he will score! IMWT IBWT
  2. I agree with this article... Louis has looked lack-luster upfront on his own, his touch is woefull, doesnt chase the ball or defenders... he just mopes around and always tries predictably to get it on his left. Its about time Moyes changes it. Yak was palying well and i didnt understand him being dropped... give beckford a run of games starting with WBA on saturday. although he missed that glorious chance last night, he done more in the ten minutes he played than saha did all match, give him a run and he will score no doubt. I agree with some of the comments in the article as well about Jonny... i think its about time we cashed in on him in january. I liked jonny last year but his attitude to not starting is poor and if we can get 12 million for him off bayern etc i would take it and spend it on a quality striker or winger. time to offload billy also he has had his chance and cant blame it on the russian hangover any longer - too slow, too lazy and not enough heart for our club. Arteta has been poor recently but we all know he is a quality player having a rough patch, i would like to see moyes have a go at him or drop him for a game to get a reaction. We need to keep Peanuts, he is our only creative player at the minute and looks to be working his arse off for us! Give him equal wages to Arteta if thats what he wants!
  3. No he is known to support the shite unfortunatley!
  4. I agree fully.... stop the jibber-jabba on the website and start performing!
  5. As i have said in numerous previous posts calling for Moyes's head is ridiculous.. come on we are behaving like Kopites! I believe Moyes is the only man to take this club forward. Saying that like every Everton supporter i am growing increasingly frustrated at his negative tactics this season. 4-5-1 at home to Newcastle and in the league cup to Brentford is dyer. We can play that 4-5-1 formation when Cahill is in the team as he is a supporting striker but without him it simply doesnt work... IMO he is too negative and restricted in his tactics this season. I agree he needs to play his players in their best positions also.... Jonny is a centre back not a defensive mid, felli is a defensive mid although he has done a job in a attacking role when we are short but he is a class DM. Its hard to judge Beckford as he is being played up-top on his own, he is a new player to the league he clearly needs to play with another striker. Osman is shocking as a winger, its not his fault either.. he hasnt the pace or guile to beat a man sp why put him there? Also his faith in DUSTBIN is really frustrating, he had a shocker against Utd, was ok at newcastle, shocking again last night.... how many times does this fella get caught out and still he gets in the team because Moyes has a fetish for a left sided centre half. For all the hype and rally crys to start Coleman... the simple fact is he is not good enough as a right back to start a prem game. I would try him at right mid to see if his attacking potential is worth the crys. We have had a shocking start to the season but the knee-jerk reactions make me dissapointed in some of our fans... Show faith in Moyes and we will be re-paid. As for the likening to old purple nose Fergie, i think Moyes has the potential to become a top manager at a club like Man Utd but he isnt just quite there yet. His running of the club is 1st class, dealing with young players the same, poaching quality players on the cheap again 1st class.... he just needs to realise that sometimes you have to take a risk. COME ON MOYES SHOW THESE BOO-BOYS THAT YOUR THE MAN TO LEAD US TO GLORY. IMWT. COYB

What the heck are you smoking!!! You must be high to be coming out with these comments!! 1st Moyes has peaked and now Jags on the bench!!? I agree Moyes likes a lefy but he will not drop Jags. he is our best defender IMO, I really hope its Jags and Jonny. But i can see him sticking with Distin and Jags and maybe but Jonny into midfield seen as Felli looks abit unfit. As someone said he would not drop Neville, he is the captain and we do look better with him on the pitch.

Sorry this is a load of crap IMO, one game into the season and the Moyes bashers have come out. He is the best man to lead this club forward, cant believe you have said he has peaked when he hasnt even started! He has his best squad he ever had, he will now prove he is a top manager and push on. If MOYES isnt the man for us then i dont know who is, there is no-one better than him who can take us forward! The safety first approach as you describe it has proved us well over the last few years, we have be in the champions league, europa league and constantly we around the top 4.... look back a few years ago and we were relegation candidates!? This safety 1st approach is a well balanced, organised and disciplined team. we are well drilled and can out pass many of teams when we get going, look at what Paul Merson quoted last season, everton are playing like Barca, when have you ever heard that in recent years. He is the man to lead us back to glory, one defeat and people are already doubting the man! its shocking! i agree he can be sometimes defensive and makes some strange subs now and then but the man has given us our best hope in years of becoming a top club again, he is the man to lead us back to the top. IMWT
  8. That looks a quality line-up BUT you cannot leave Tim out IMO. His goals have proven so valuable to us over time and he puts 110% in every game. He loves the club and will chase, battle and scrap for every ball just to see us do well. Surely you cannot take him out an established player who regularly scores for a player with no premier league experience (Izmailov). I would swap Izmailov for Tim and then move Mikel to were you put Izmailov, coleman can bomb up the wing allowing Mikel to drift in as he naturally does and pull the strings.

I dont expect Moyes to start Coleman against Wolves although i would love to see him play. Osman is not a winger at all, he has no pace and doesnt really get into the game from their and in my opinion should be a bench player.I hope to see Jonny back in defence alongside Jags. I think it will be a tough game again and another small score-line 1-0 to the blues. My team would be: Howard Neville Jonny Jags Baines Felli Mikel Billy Cahill Pienaar King
  10. I think he will play Beckford just behind Saha. Although i think the Cahill being a doubt talk is bull so it could well be the ususal 4-4-1-1 with Tim.
  11. I rekon DM will pick: Howard, Neville, Jags, Jonny, Baines, Pienaar,Felli, Arteta, Billy, Beckford, Saha. With Cahill being a doubt i can see him starting Beckford after him having a good preseason. As much as i would like to see seamus start, i think neille will get the right back spot with him being el cap e tain and having a good pre-season. Felli is back now, jonny will play even though he hasnt been in preseason he has said he is ready. Billy our only winger option as i cant see moyes throwing Marvin Gay in at the 1st game. 3-1 win for us, Beckford, Saha, Jags.
  12. i would take him, he was undervalued at Liverpool and class at Pompey with defoe. He is a very good player the only sticking point is he is a ex-red and wages.
  13. I have gone for 6th, i can see it being Utd,Chelski,Arse,Citeh, shite, Us, Spurs.
  14. Obertan - Utd Hernandez - Utd Jovanovic - Shite Beckford - Blues Kolarov - Citeh Wilshire - Gunners
  15. Sky Sports say he is in talk with Hoffenheim, they have held talks with him and his agent. Fee is arounf 6.6miilion quid. Cnat get the link up sorry
  16. It shocks me that on-one has come in to take-over us? I wouldnt want bill "put down his train set". I would like him to stay on as chairman and continue to have an active role in the club if we had a takeover. He is blue through and through and has run this club extremely well IMO. we have recently recieved record shirt and sponsor deals. It does shock me that we constantly challenge the top teams and get into europe and no1 shows serious interest in us? Phillip Green might have the hollywood connections but the like of the Sheiks at city are the only people who have the real funds to buy a club without rinsing it in debt. I am happy we are running more efficeintly these days and i am looking forward to seeing the day when all these investors pull the money out of clubs when they have made their profit and we are sitting in a cushy position. IM&KWWT!
  17. I agree that 15million is not enough! But it is barcelona, i dont think it owuld matter if it was 5mins a game. He is going back to spain with arguably the biggest and best team in europe. He would be turning out at the Camp Nou each week and playing with players like xavi, messi, puyol and villa. Also it would probably stand him in better stead to get into the spanish team, as the spanish managers seem to ignore the fact he has constantly been class at us. I wouldnt begrudge him a move to barca i just hope we get a little bit more for him... maybe 15 plus a player?
  18. "I wonder if this bird will let me go all the way?"
  19. agreed and at spurs the throw money around like its confetti! I mean how many attacking midfielders does one man need? i think arry has a fetish for attacking midfielders!! and also buying most players everton express and interest in!
  20. It comes up with a liitle x and saying posted image? must works aceint computer!! does my head in the way we are over looked when we do well and then spurs get all praise and this team could be the next team to win the league, it was the same with villa. saying that i am glad we go under the radar and then suprise few people by coming in the top 5. IMWT! I look forward to Paul Merson singing our praises on soccer saturday soon saying we play like Barca! A good start is what we need and soon arry will be eating his slurred cockney lingo!
  21. Is there a link to this?? I cant view the image for some reason. If this is Arry Redknapp saying this he is a complete joke, when he says Spurs have a chance at the title!! He livevs in a dream-world sometimes, i like him but he gets far to ahead of himself. they had one decent year last season, we have got in the champions league and constantly challeneged the top 4 year in year out. so surely he must be proving they are not just a one off and concentrating on cementing themselves as a top 6 team instead of waffling cockney rambles about them being contenders for the league!! it only a year since they were fighting to stay up! Keep your lob-sided face shut Redknapp and keep your hands off our players!
  22. Moyes must see something in him then, unless he is holding out for a cash offer. That goal he scored for Motherwell at the end of the season was top quality by the way!
