  1. It's going to be a good day Thursday #bluethursday
  2. he was the only player absent today from MK Dons training..... read into that what you like. Looks like he is on the move but god knows where, if we are interested and Martinez wants him I am confident he will be useful.
  3. TELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IS IT ME YOUR LOOKING FOR? I CAN SEE IT IN YOUR EYES
  4. Gregg Okeefe is just a yes man, he wont comment on speculation until it is concrete from the club. He is always light years behind any deal that happens and only states deals when the club allow a statement. I really hope the Caulker deal happens he is an outstanding defender and I was suprised Spurs let him go. He would be a quality addition for Distin and rotation with all the games we have with Europa. If Duffy is a make-weight for the deal then hopefully his price will be lower than 9m. There are alot of rumours going around us as people know we have to add numbers for the europa league, the most reliable source on Twitter I have found is @THT1878, seems to have a certain amount of inside knowledge and releases interest and done deals before Greg Okeefe has even got the speculation page in the Echo.
  5. For me Banega is a top player and at a perfect age to still grow, the only issue with him seems to be his attitude so I wonder if Martinez would risk the group dynamic and harmony for him. I would personally love to see Victor Wanyama from Southampton join us, apparently we where interested before he went there and I have been really impressed by him when he has played. I feel he would be an ideal replacement if Barry was not to join, he offers pace, power, reads the game well, tackles hard, can pass the ball well and he is still young. I know Soton paid a fair fee for him and will be hoping for profit but he seems abit disgruntled that they let Pochettino go fairly easily and he could be worth a bid. Him alongside McCarthy would be a strong midfield full of pace and power. I would make him a priority if Barry doesnt sign.
  6. Cant agree with that. Kone has been practically ruled out all season with a bad injury so cannot judge him on that, next season will determine if he has been a poor buy. Alcaraz was a free transfer and has provided good cover when needed, he played 3-4 games on the bounce and looked solid then got injured and hasnt had a consistent run of games to get back to playing, can't expect a player to be brilliant after no game time (Heitenga was prime exmaple, he needed a run of games to get to his best), Alcaraz was free and on a low wage, provides cover when the first choice are injured, not a world beater but not a bad buy for free. Robles i admit i am not entirely convinced however he is still a young keeper who will get better and for the nominal fee he cost and low wages he is on, i believe he will be a shrewd buy in the future, excellent for Wigan and practically won them the cup with some of his displays, hasnt really been given a chance (except the cups) due to Howards excellent form. Troare played one game, scored and then was injured, how can that be judged as a poor bit of business? You could sign Messi and he could get injured for a season, cant judge players who havnt had a full run in the team or being unluckily injured. Lukaku, McGeady, Gerry,McCarthy, Barry have all been shrewd business and accompanied with the others mentioned I think we can all be confident in whoever Martinez signs.
  7. SSN: Sources close to France international Loic Remy are claiming that the QPR striker has already held transfer talks with both Liverpool and Arsenal. Remy's Loftus Road contract runs until summer 2017 but he is widely expected to move on this summer after a successful loan spell at Newcastle last season. Remy was in the Emirates Stadium stands at the end of the season to watch Arsenal beat West Brom 1-0. Looks like we need to get in there if we want him, I trust Bobby though in whatever he decides to do, has not got one poor signing so far for us.
  8. I honestly think we need 6/7 players. Especially to compete in both Europa and continue to push on in the league. I would like us to sign, a new CB, 2 CM, 2 ST, 1 Winger, 1 AMC. I think Gerry and Lacina will come back on loan. Barry wont sign (shame). Lukaku all depends on price and this will effect our transfers greatly. I would like to sign, Delph (Villa) about 6m - Good engine, box to box, technically good, 24. Diego (Wolfsberg) Out of Contract - Excellent playmaker, set piece expert, technically quality, would be ideal for Europa and when Ross needs a rest. Josh Guilavogui (Aletico Madrid - loan at St Ettiene) - Defensive Mid, strong and powerful, good on the ball and young to progress. (similar to Fernando) Not too sure on wingers or strikers who I would have. I personally would like to see Lukaku back as he is only going to get better, Bony will be a similar price and Remy will go where the money is (not us). Wingers i dont really follow too much but I think we really need cover here especially with Mirallas injuries, Pienaar getting on and Naismith proving he not a wide man. I think we need another centre half as I am not convinced Alcaraz can come in and perfomr every one or two games, seems to be a player who needs a run of games to get upto a good level (like heitenga). I reckon we could try and go youthful but we have browning coming through who can player there, I like Caulker but his fee might be high and I would love Vermalen but thats a long shot.
  9. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9246323/transfer-news-romelu-lukakus-agent-has-spoken-to-tottenham-about-a-transfer
  10. McCarthy, Coleman, Distin - Player of The Seaon Stones, Barkley, Lukaku - Young Player Barkley goal vs Swansea for goal of the season.
  11. Regarding Lukaku, there is a rumour that we have an agreement with Chelsea for purchase at the end of the loan deal depending on European Qualification, including the Europa. Even though is goal ratio hasn't been great even with injuries I would be over the moon if we got him, he is going to be an absolute beast of a striker in years and already out main goal threat.
  12. Apparently Myers left due to disagreeing with Elstone on a number of issues and felt the relationship couldn't work. Myers will not do anything to drag the club through the mud in the press hence the minimal comment of "personal reasons" and his fast appointment to BRFC. He will genuinely be missed by fans and even players/RM.
  13. FAITH HAS BEEN RESTORED!!!! @fourthofficial has stated today will be a good day in regards to Everton. WE WILL GET PLAYERS IN
  14. According to @PetterVeland we are in the chase for Ever Banega again from Valencia as both him and Canales left out of their squad to face Barcelona. It is Atletico, Boca, some Italian clubs ans us in for him. Exepect him to go to Atletico then to join with fellow Argentine Simone. 10m is the price for Banega, Canales 4-6m euros.
  15. Back on the Neil Taylor rumour, apparently they had doubts over his medical history due to his recent serious injury and opted out instead to call Garbutt back. Baftemi Gomis - late bid gone in apparently again from the same person so could be bullshit as the Neil Taylor one didnt even surface. A striker would be a welcome addition but need a centre mid I reckon.
  16. I reckon the team tonight will be: Howard, Hibbert, Stones, Jags, Baines, McCarthy, Barry, Kev, Barkley, Pienaar, Lukaku. Barkley will play with injection to his toe. Pienaar is meant to be back and Jags was precautionary apparently. Unsure if Distin is back though, I think he is more of a doubt than Jags. If that team is right i would be fairly confident in getting a win only issue is whether Stones can cope with that quality attack the shite has. It will be a big night for Barry and McCarthy protecting him and also hibbert from their wide men. Their defence is poor and Lucas is a huge miss for them, get at them early (like Villa) we can cause problems to that back four and midfield. I think they will line up - Mingolet, Flannagan, Toure, Skrtle, Cissoko, Gerrard, Henderson, Allen, Coutinho, Sturridge, Suarez - (maybe Sterling for countinho to provide cover for flannagan)
  17. Stoke in talks with him for loan. He will join us in the summer, almost certain of it.
  18. I think that is a re-regurgitated story from the last window ie lazy journalism. Martinez has said he wont be spending any large sums of money in this window so cannot see him doing that even with Oviedo out. I haven't seen anything of Indi but heard alot of good things about him. Mohamed Moalim on twitter and Peter McVitie have both said good things about in in recent times.
  19. Not sure if he is his rep but he certainly has a big say in what he does. Goes to all his meetings apparently. I not sure if his Dad's ego tars Thomas Ince with the same brush, cant see Martinez bringing someone in who would disrupt the squad but I know there is genuine interest in him and has been for a while. Ince is meant to favour a move to Everton over any of the mentioned teams and this is more likely in the summer. I would have him for a free? He wont demand huge wages either as he isnt a proven player, good young english player i think could be worth the risk.
  20. He didn't say a fee but guessing it will be a small fee as he isn't being played? This called all be bull-shit but he is usually spot on so I would be happy if we got him.
  21. According to twitter there is a late bid from Everton for Ince but i cannot see it happening. He will join Swansea on loan then i think he will join us in the summer on a free, he is rumoured to be holding out for a dream move in the summer but cannot stay at Blackpool any longer due to relationship with Oyston and his Dad.
  22. Dont shoot the messenger!!! Heard a rumour from inside FF that Neil Taylor from Swansea is about to sign. Dont know how true this is but person who i heard it from is usually spot on. I think he would be a great signing if fee is low, perfect cover for Baines whilst Oviedo is injured. He was touted as a £15m player before he got injured so could be a good addition. Thoughts?
  23. Absolutely spot on! Jonny has openly said he wants european football so if a offer come in for him he would cry his way tevez esq out the club. Jags has not once gave an indication he wants to leave even with previous arsenal offers, this lad is a true defender, i know we need the money but 10 million is a scandle. True Distin had the best season of his career last year but he is nearing the end of his career and to say we could throw duffy or mustafi in now would be suicicdal, i would like to see these lads get a few games but not at the expense of one of the top 4 english centre halfs. 20 million and he has gone, no matter if moyes wnats to keep him, Bk will sell and its a shame we have to run our club like this.
  24. I dont agree with selling distin, or billy to be honest... although billy has been slow to start and very frustrating at times he has recently put good performances in and looks better with a run of games... distin has been our best defender apart from baines so selling him would be a joke. My players to sell would be: Heitenga - if we could re-coup any money bite their hand off! Anichebe - lazy, arrogant and shit imo - offer him to championships i would take 2 mill Arteta - if there was a right offer i would take it, been poor this year, always passing the ball sideways, too negative osman - i would sell him but only if there was 3-4 million, i like him as a great servant to the club and can fill in now and then but we need pace in wide areas and he aint got it. Unfortunately here is the ones i think will go: Moyes Rodwell Jags
  25. Personally I think we should build our team around two players for the future and that is Rodwell and Fellaini. However with the lack of funds it is going to be a tough task to convince felli to sign a new contract and if 25 million is getting thrown around by Madrid i believe that a sum of money could be help the club at this time and allow Moyes to tie felli down and re-build. I would love rodwell to stay as he can be a quality player given a run of games, selling rooney turned out to be probably the best thing we done so maybe the same for rodwell could happen, however i would like him to stay and build the team around him. I would much rather sell players like Heitenga and Arteta. I know arteta is a class act but this season he has looked dis-interested and i believe that Rodwell IMO can be that creative drive we need and replace arteta. 25 million could get us a few decent players but i hope we can keep hold of him and find some investment!
