    Because he's done us a favor by getting himself a three match ban and also the multiple elbows to wood is the most arsed he's looked all year besides the riot he incited at Lyon. Don't actually count that vote please.

    Tosun did okay to nab himself a goal. Thought Pickford made some great saves though was a big reason they scored their first goal. Thought some of the others acquitted themselves while some were shocking (Keane, Williams, thought Davies was awful) or just not able to get involved (DCL, Walcott)

    While that probably sounds great down at your pub, I'm not sure constant turnover and instability among senior management at Finch Farm would yield positive results from its employees, including the playing staff.

    It's near impossible for any striker to have a meaningful impact when they are completely isolated from the rest of the team positionally and also getting no service because the guys behind him can't string together a set of three passes

    I think Gana has a slightly better burst of speed/acceleration on him that lets him make interceptions/challenges more effectively than Besic and *occasionally* contributes in the final third. Other than that, yeah, similar players.

    Our squad is too big for him to sit the bench. I'd rather bring in someone else that could push Gana or Davies to the bench. Besic is the weakest of out central midfielders, so I would like to see him as first man out if we bring someone in.

    I was just winding Bill up On a serious note, I just don't think Besic is positionally disciplined enough to play the Gareth Barry/Schneiderlin role nor is his passing range particularly good and wouldn't be good distributing in that role or offer much going forward if we let him get more advanced like Davies.

    Sam did say that and it's a sign of a lot of things. The combination of us having a big squad with a lot of players barely or not seeing the pitch combined with low morale due to a poor season.

    The creditable Spanish football journo Guillem Balague said that he was a bit of a prima donna/needed to feel special when we signed him. An obvious talent, but given some of his reputation, I'm not surprised that Sandro didn't really show the fight to hang around trying to adapt to a new league with a team that's struggling.

    This board is already labeling signings we haven't made yet as failures, Peter - much less Cenk Tosun who's time is clearly up here and Klaassen, the dinosaur who has been stealing a wage from us for the better part of a decade
