  1. Grant should go because he has no place in the first team squad and would count against the 25 man limit now that he's 23 - so he's not needed nor should he stay for his own career Joel is good cover, but he should move on and go somewhere where he can be the #1.
  2. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2017/08/02/new-blues-deal-for-jagielka Got one year left.
  3. I really liked Moyes and still like the job he did here, but know. Let's look forward and get a manager who is still growing rather than one who is set in his ways. I'm going to lose on Rafa or Dyche, so I am not sure how I feel between Silva or Howe. Both have big pros and cons for me.
  4. Wouldn't want to give any steam to that runaway train of a topic.
  5. I'm now reading mixed reviews on him - Either way, he's a rudimentary, basic defender. Not a lot of pace and isn'tt ever going to play the ball out from the back. Would certainly think he's good enough for the Championship in some capacity, but who knows.
  6. Just signed a new three year contract believe it or not - not sure if he was going to be out of contract in the summer. I have to believe we will try to move him on for a nominal fee in the near future, as I believe many Leeds fans don't think he's good enough.
  7. Idea: Why don't we build a football pitch on top of a moving train and that can be our ground? John will love it.
  8. A binding Purchase and Sale Agreement begs to disagree with you.
  9. You watch - he'll be rumored for a January loan move back to us by October.
  10. Perhaps beating them on the fucking pitch for the first time since 2010 would be better? Maybe an atmosphere too (Seems to have gone missing)?
  11. Honestly, I feel like the obsession with capacity among some is asinine. Old Trafford is a library - I'd rather fill 52000 seats and create atmosphere than try to go toe to toe with the Emirates, Spurs new stadium and kill the atmosphere or have a bunch of empty seats - Keep in mind that Goodison is 39.5k, even a jump to 52K is quite a leap.
  12. One point to note - West Ham play Man U tomorrow - really unlucky on their end to have a Thursday midweek match whereas Southampton-Swansea was Tuesday. Only two days of rest for them. Hope that helps.
  13. Think the whole "getting stuck in" deal gets overblown by nostalgic English pundits who were former workmanlike players from the 80s-90s, but this and Man City appear to have been inspired performances from a side desperate to stay in the division but completely devoid of any goalscoring capabilities.
  14. Woah! Crazy scenes! Think Huddy are just as desperate mate - Two matches with your fate in your own hands and needing to scape a point. That's as much incentive as any.
  15. This. I don't think there are a few signings in the world or a new manager that can take us to the 65-70 point mark and actually challenge the top 6 by the end of next season, but I would like to see a clear identity, plan, and players who buy into it and give everything through the shirt - whether it's through solidarity and midfield/defensive grit under Dyche, or attacking flair and creativity under Howe/Fonseca.

  17. Is this reductio ad absurdum or a genuine statement?
  18. Southampton all but saved themselves - needed to beat Swansea in all honesty given that their last is against City. They can tie on points to Huddy and Swansea (if they beat Stoke), but have a far superior goal difference. Thought Hughes had really turned them around. They were far too good to be in this position - the right additions in the summer and they should be back to midtable, but they'll be right back in the mess if they don't make the right additions. A point against Chelsea or Arsenal will keep Huddy up, or Swansea NOT beating Stoke. I still quite fear for them given their tough fixtures and inferior goal difference, but would love to see them do it. Swansea are still in it, and Stoke is one of the best teams they could play right now, but Swansea have been terrible since the honeymoon with Carvalhal ended. No better than under Paul Clement, which was the most doomed looking side around January.
  19. Will be interesting to see if he gets a go here - not sure we need another 10 if we keep Klaassen. If Klaassen goes, I would worry about depth at 10 behind Gylfi.
