  1. I'd be willing to give him a go. He played well at the World Cup, and the potential is definitely there; he just needs a change of scenery at this point.
  2. I've heard some good things about him from some other folks, but I'm not sure if he would be ready to provide competition to Lukaku due to a lack of experience. Not saying he doesn't have the ability already at such a young age, but I really think we need some proven competition for the Big Man first.
  3. I hate you for telling me about this band. They've becomes a guilty pleasure. They sound like nu-metal, but I can't help but like them. Do you like Periphery? https://open.spotify.com/album/3CPtyTCOEirDSos5WzEQBt
  4. Only one man can stop Trump now... https://youtu.be/k4b4W8i9J6w
  5. I talked to a bunch of folks who stayed home. They were just so indifferent towards Hillary that they didn't bother to show up. Definitely feel BOTH parties need a shakeup. I'm still surprised that the Republicans control everything. First time since 1928 that one party has controlled the 3 branches all at once. Yep -- I really feel this was a turning point for Democrats in the election. It really should've been Sanders. I still thought Hillary would pull it off, but in retrospect it makes complete sense why she failed.
  6. The Republicans won the House and the Senate too. I also didn't see that coming. This is just insane.
  7. I really have no words. I didn't think he'd win, and I definitely didn't think he'd pull away like that.
  8. I like their guitar parts and drums a lot -- they have a little bit of that "djent" style. The vocals aren't my favorite, but it's definitely listenable.
  9. Paul Scholes would know one if he saw one.
  10. It's definitely an interesting read. Trump is a loose cannon and should be nowhere the decision-making process. I'm completely disappointed by the two candidates we have, but at least Hillary is predictable to a certain degree. Trump is a bully and like the article points out, a vindictive and spiteful person. I was originally going to vote for neither, but I'm voting for Hillary now even though she won't win in my state; there is literally no one else to vote for. ...Sad times for the USA right now.
  11. After that defeat to Chelsea I needed some positive news. My best bud is a Chelsea fan, so he was eating up that result.
  12. Hadn't even thought about him. Don't know; don't care. He was a troll.
  13. Same in my state -- it will always vote Republican.
  14. They also don't have a lot of electoral votes -- similar to the South. Hillary will have the big wins I think, except for maybe Texas, but it's more competitive there than ever, so who knows. Polling averages should be taken with a grain of salt too. Romney and Obama were pretty close percentage-wise right up until the election, but Obama pretty much blew him away on election day.
  15. I agree with this. If the majority of the people in your country vote for you, that should have an impact on your numbers. I also agree that it makes sense to give states like CA, NY, TX & FL a lot more pull. I guess no system is perfect, but it was pretty crazy when Al Gore won the popular vote but Bush had the most electoral votes and won the election that year.
  16. Sounds interesting -- I'll have to check this out.
  17. I think he's worth 30M in today's market -- I don't think he's motivated to play for Porto anymore from what I've read.
  18. Exactly. Trump will dominate in Southern states but those states usually only around 6-9 electoral votes apiece, whereas Clinton will win California which has 55 I think.
  19. Technically, I think he's one of the best around. He dribbles at players -- He's also very quick and very versatile, so he seems like the perfect player for Koeman. That's just from what I've seen of him though, which granted is only a handful of games. I can't tell you too much more than that, but inconsistency seems to be one of his issues.
  20. I still think Hillary will win. I'm in the deep South which is heavily Republican, and I still can't see Trump getting enough of the electoral votes needed to win.
  21. What polls are you looking at? Every poll I've looked at has Clinton in the lead (except for one). Hillary's national polling average is 45.6% to Trump's 41.8%
