He’s getting his chance today to show his worth. He needs to have a decent game against a poor Wolves side.

I like this lineup, but not sure if it will be good enough.

Feeing stupidly optimistic this morning. Change to 2-1 with same goal scorer.

With DCL more than likely out, I'm hoping Danjuma gets the start up top, although I have a feeling it will be Maupay. Wolves aren't that great, but I'm not expecting much from us. I'm holding any excitement back until matchday. Wolves will be around us in the table this season. I think this result will be very telling on how our season will go if the first two matches weren't already.

Ouch. At least it’s not a muscle injury I guess.

Can't fault DCL for getting a concussion or whatever injury this is -- looks different from his history -- but it is extremely frustrating how unreliable he is. We have to get direct replacement.

Maybe just a goal-scoring striker isn't the only thing we need.

Maybe we’ll get back into it, but it’s going to be tough. Recent history tells me game over.

Gotta make sure we can have two keepers on the bench at all times. I don't feel like we need an additional keeper on the books when we have Joao Virginia and Lonegran, both of whom we've both offered new contracts to recently. I get having an experienced backup, but what's our plan with Virginia if we don't plan to use him as cover?

Garner MOTM. Maupay, Doucouré, and Patterson all had chances that should’ve led to goals. Majorly disappointed with that result.
