  1. Quick twitter search led me to some comments saying that someone "in the know" on Facebook mentioned it. I don't have FB so can't check, but so far it sounds like hearsay.
  2. Tbf, I don't think Maupay is a great barometer for success. He should've scored at least a few goals with some of the chances he got. I agree with the last sentence though.
  3. Exactly this. Having a DCL replica would make us too one dimensional. We need a Plan B that suits the system that Dyche wants to play but also adds something a bit different to Plan A.
  4. We really haven't seen much of DCL under Dyche, and there is a possibility he may not be in Dyche plans as far as style goes any way. I'm not saying that is the case, but I wouldn't pin everything on the way DCL plays at the moment. He's proven too unreliable with injuries the past couple of seasons. Obviously, I hope he is fit and leading the line for us.
  5. I don't hate, but I don't really like it either. The keeper top looks a lot better.
  6. Absolutely. Don't they have enough already?
  7. I don't really pay attention to the royal family, but this irked me: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/jul/20/king-charles-to-receive-huge-pay-rise-from-uk-taxpayers
  8. I would not be surprised in the least if we ended up offering him a new contract. Then again, we've been known to allow others to train before finding new clubs.

  10. This one seems to be a goer according to twitter. I'm not trying to get my hopes up.
  11. I just finished Foundation and Silo on Apple+. I thought they were decent. Season 2 of Foundation just started a week or two ago. Not really bingeworthy though, as both just have one complete season.
  12. I take magnesium glycinate and that helps me a lot.
  13. Wow, our standards really have lowered. What a fucking mess.
  14. If we get anyone in surely it will be on loan. I'm not even confident of that at this point though.
  15. Jesus. Reading some of those names just gave me Vietnam flashbacks.
  16. Sometimes I write songs; sometimes I don’t. (I’m still new to GarageBand and am looking at ProLogic)
  17. What the actual fuck? I can't believe he's staying on. Moshiri is a fucking moron.
  18. Berhalter back in. I don’t personally like it. Hated his team selections and thought we were boring to watch under him. The last World Cup was a failure, in my opinion. His assistants have been managing the selections for the past few months and have done better than expected, but I get the argument for keeping Berhalter, because they are/were his assistants and are following his philosophy (but have been able to tweak without him present). It just feels like a waste of time and resources. I want a progressive manager that isn’t afraid to lose.
  19. I think if our current manager says the door is open (in my own words), and they have had talks, then we have to consider he’s worth a chance. I don’t think he’s over or under-rated; he’s simply a player who has lost his way. It’s crazy to think that years ago we would be clawing for a player of his caliber. Don’t get me wrong, as I have low expectations, but let’s see what happens. Either way, we’re saddled with him for the time being, so let’s be optimistic. Wait, I forgot this is Everton.
  20. I’m not selling Gray unless he wants to go. We have a depth problem, and £10M won’t bring us in a better replacement in today’s market unless we’re extremely lucky.
  21. I wouldn’t sell Onana unless we had to make up on financial grounds. I think he’ll be worth more next year. Give him a solid pre-season under stable management, and I think we’ll see some progress.
  22. I think we all know what he’s capable of. If we can get the best out of him then he could transform us. I’m not holding my breath, but you never know.
