I've read it again, and it still annoys me, so we'll have to differ on this one. I can make excuses for players all day long, but normally if my first reaction is a dissatisfied one, then the player has normally chosen the wrong way to put his point across. Had he said "no one thinks we have a cat in hells chance, so we just might surprise a few peeps" then that's one thing, but my interpretation doesn't read that. Besides, it's not as if it's important as long as he puts a shift in.

Hi Paul. Hope all is ok at your end mate, and that the problems ease swiftly. Our thought are with all the folks having their lives disrupted. I don't know if the football will go ahead, but if it does, it should be a great match as always. You've managed to dip your toe in to the European football that we once enjoyed ourselves, and it was good to see a 'none Sky 4' team following our own steps of breaking into the top 4 when you did. Not too happy about losing Pienaar, but that's how it is. Hopefully he will do well, but that's his problem now. I think our season will depend on how well we start. We can't keep giving teams a 20 point head start every year, and expect to catch them up. I think playing Spurs is a great way to kick off the new season, so we'll have to see if it goes ahead, but regardless, let me take this opportunity in wishing you good luck, and hope you enjoy the months ahead.

Again I agree. All young kids have attitudes. Before he was injured he was starting to have an impact. Moyes owes him another chance and the fans do too. He single handedly kept us in Europe with awesome displays. If he could find that again, he could become invaluable. As I said earlier, £3M is a joke.

The International match is already called off. I can't see why fans would travel down to a war zone, and can't see that the police would allow it. Can you imagine a crowd of 40,000 people being anywhere near this nonsense?
