  1. That was Konoplyanka. Yarmolenko has a year left on his contract.
  2. He took the goal well and looks like he's bulked up quite a bit from last season.
  3. The Daily Star says we're interested in Spain U-21 international Sergi Darder, who plays for Malaga. Not a "number 10" though, but a central midfielder... http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/458701/Everton-enquire-8m-rated-Malaga-midfielder-Sergi-Darder
  4. Given the guy's wealth, his obvious full-on interest in sport as well as the community around the clubs, plus his background in construction, I would LOVE this to be true.
  5. I'm hoping it's more like 4-5m with the rest based on appearances etc.
  6. So it looks like he's joining us. I think he's an decent option to rotate in and out as required, and he's the right age, experience etc to add to the squad, but I've never thought of him as a 'leader', which is the kind of character I think we're missing. Does he have that in his character, or a bit of an edge to his game? I guess he must be a strong character to have made it through the ranks into the first team at Man Utd and stayed there under SAF and then Moyes.
  7. Haven't seen this linked yet, but the Echo report that Ossie is looking to carry on playing when his current deal expires next summer: "If I can get out there and keep up the levels I have shown over the last few years then my intent it to try and keep on playing." http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/osman-want-extend-everton-career-9664927
  8. I know, but thought it was worth mentioning. Looks like his decision will be between a new deal at Chelsea and going out on loan again, or moving on to start afresh.
  9. Also this from last month: Everton, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Newcastle are all believed to be interested in Bamford, who is approaching the final 12 months of his contract at the Bridge. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-offer-striker-patrick-bamford-5695343
  10. I know it's the Daily Mail but this is an interesting link. The lad can play up front or off the striker and certainly seems to know where the net is after good loan spells at Derby and Middlesbrough (19 goals last season): http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3126481/Everton-interested-Chelsea-forward-Patrick-Bamford-bolster-strikeforce.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
  11. I can see the value of this lad as decent cover for Coleman as well as a useful winger. Good age too.
  12. Yes please. Always seems a busy, skillful player who knows where the net is. Quick, too. Would like this to happen.
  13. Yup, keep threads open but move to General seems to make most sense.
  14. He's speaking like a lad who would love to make a permanent transfer here.
  15. Welcome aboard - your first game as an Evertonian was a great team performance! Don't expect that every week but hopefully we'll see a run of better results now.
  16. Robles for me, with honourable mentions for Stones, Besic and McCarthy.
  17. Continuing the theme set by Sky, the Daily Mail has a "Special Report" laying into Martinez and problems with the squad: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2943232/Roberto-Martinez-seen-soft-touch-players-trusted-staff-left-club-turned-sour-Everton-boss.html Coincidence that they run this the day of the "Stevie G Derby"?
  18. Who played the great through ball from deep for Naisy to cross for the goal? Guessing Stones or Besic?
  19. Can play either wing and through the middle. Trying not to get my hopes up....
  20. The Mirror suggesting that Spurs could offer Lennon and some cash in exchange for Mirallas: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-plot-transfer-swap-evertons-5012010?
