Great little player but needs to concentrate a bit more. He tends to lose the ball in dangerous places.

This! Would show the lad a bit of faith while also letting him know a performance is needed.

But didn't anyone see what happened? Players from both side stepped up for the drop ball. Both decided the other team needed to hand the ball back. Neither agreed. Mirralas stepped in and said .. fuck this shit... and took the ball himself. Good on him and just what we need. Fart arsing about has no place on a football pitch, were they sporting about it?

We're Everton fans, we're generally negative. Reading other threads you see , Mirralas gets slated, Ross is overrated, Jags past it, Robles not good enough. It's not only Lukaku. Lukaku is Hafs best where other players seem to have their own main criticiser..is that a word? Haf just needs to keep his Lukaku criticism in the right thread and then it's fine. Isn't that what threads are for?

I think Williams had no choice. He was barely a foot away from Robles and Robles was still on his feet, no way he could have got down in time. It was a goal eaither way. To me at least.

He has had a handful if that, of matches. In most he has looked a good player. Against Liverpool he still had a few good moments in a very poor team performance. Last night he was poor but that more to do with the managers bad choice than his ability.

I thought he was pretty good last night. Had a couple of wobbles and his kicking was erratic, but he made two very smart saves. Getting more and more consistent.

It's because he's speaking French! Or Belgium, or maybe something else!

I thought taking Mirralas off was a mistake. He was our pace and energy up front. Once he went off it seemed to be non stop pressure from them.

A supporter of his, but tonight he was very poor. Unlucky just before the goal as he was clearly fouled and it went against him!

Didn't look like he was shushing. Looked more like he is holding his finger up and having his say back. Was a poor final twenty minutes after a good performance from him. Too selfish yes, but does anyone else think Barkley jogged twenty yards behind him rather than sprinting to catch up?

He let us down at the end. Just when we needed someone to work hard and put pressure on them , he slowed down and their centre backs have free reign. He did work hard so it may be a fitness thing.

Williams, good throughout. Barry was back to his best. Rom should have gone off midway second half, he had nothing left.

Very good performance and unlucky at the end. DCL should have had a free kick and took the pressure off us. Williams was brilliant and had to stop that shot and give us another chance.

Mirralas is looking good for his place. Some fast attacking play from him so far. Barkley started well but went missing last twenty mins. Gana looking really shaky, looks likely to lose the ball or get sent off. Jags has been brilliant. Robles has been excellent. Baines leading with a mature head. Rom has had a few bad moments but overall looking really dangerous, working hard and wanting it.

I'm as sure as everyone else is that thinks he has been offered one. Haven't seen one report saying he was offered one.

He put his boot on his chest as he stepped over and then clearly tried to take the weight off and his foot slides sideways due to this. Nothing in it as far as football is concerned, media is another matter though.

Barkley isn't playing hard ball... he hasn't been offered a contract yet.

It's not dead just yet is it. A strong finish and the right targets and we could keep this team together.

I'm sure Rom publicly wished Seamus the best in his interviews while on international duty. Can't remember which one, but I'm sure he did.

Looks a balanced team. What has happened to Lookman?

Was praying he would be back for Utd. Will be interesting to see the line up without him.
