I also thought he looked much better last night. Once he left we field we died. For all I wandered why Mirralas didn't start....i wandered if he actually came on after that. Very poor and Ross should have stayed on. He should watch the video of himself running to the byline, using strength to stay up and cutting the ball back to earn a corner. That's what we want to see, the driving aggressive Barkley that plays of pure instinct.

The ref may have thought there was contact, if there was it would have been a direct freekick. If no contact it should have been an indirect freekick. Still pissed off here. Why haven't we learnt our lessons from last year. Get the ball in the box and of you have a chance to shoot ....... Then shoot! Still too much playing around the box for me.

Can't believe Mirralas isn't playing? This is the best I have seen from him for two years. He needs more time to become consistent. At home we should he attacking ferociously and Kev needs to be playing for us to do so.

I agree. He takes it personally when he loses the ball and always try to get it back. Would just like to see more hustle from him thats all. Like I say, great to see him more consistent and dangerous this year.

Fair enough. I feel I have witnessed the opposite. Bolasie seems a workhorse type player to me. Mirralas is working a lot harder then last year, but only compared to himself. Much better player this year.

So me saying that Mirralas isn't a high pressing player is ridiculous. But you think Bolasie isn't so much. Hmm maybe your right, maybe I need to watch us this season. Can I put a dumbfounded emote on with my mobile?

His comment on Coleman was clearly picking a name and using as an example. Barkley has been poor most of the last two years with occasional brilliance. Koeman watches him in training. Barkley needs nurturing. He's a confidence player. End of first half, Ross gets the ball, holds onto it and keeps possession and eventually lays the ball of which creates a chance. Crowd Went crazy at him! That's why most are fans and not players. He needs support and playtime. Still one of our best players.

Nope, not for me. We have Bolasie that's it. Tye rest of our front players don't really do mate check until they receive the ball. Said it from the start, haven't seen much difference from last season so far. It's a fine line between us scoring first and the other team. We have been 50/50 until we score then we suddenly look decent. I just can't see Koeman managing to turn Ross, Lukaku and Mirralas into pressing players.

Not voting as I only managed the first half. One question though. Did Gana u.prove dramatically in the second half? because in the first half he was on a par with Ross. Gave the ball away at least once every five minutes.. .but he seems to be at the top of MoM. Or was everyone just much poorer in the second half, because he was in of the worst players on the pitch first half

Best player I have watched at Goodison. He was like having a defender playing up front the way he closed defenders down. Then once the ball was at his feet, he magically changed into a gifted technical player. Awesome.

No he wasn't though. Your bright enough to know that if you take one player away your team will adapt. Matt has a point about euro etc, but I still think Lukaku shoulders the same responsibility as all the rest. And I still profess that for me eleventh isn't in any way an achievement for Everton football club......Just hope he doesn't help us this season eh!
