  1. Controversial but get Rooney back. Rooney would be the making of Ross. Having someone teach him to enjoy football again and how to cope with pressure would do him the world of good.
  2. Agree. This is Ross strength. Getting shouldered and having to rely on strength and instinct is where he is at his best. Worst thing opponents do is hustle him when he is running forward. It makes him rely on his strength.
  3. Only time will tell which one of us is right.
  4. Fans laughed at a few of us who suggested having Ross as a deep midfielder, a player who would collect the ball from defense and then power forward. I still see this as the ideal position for Ross. He isn't a cute player, he is a power player.
  5. Some fans are really going to end up with egg on their face. If Ross ends up shit, it will be me.
  6. I wouldn't have thought Williams was saying he could learn negative things from Jags. Unless you think our Ashley is a bit of a dumb fuck.
  7. Haha I never learn....spellchecker. Like that idea though, that would be a good piece to read.
  8. Was hoping Someone like Inaki would fit that role. Doesn't seem like we have any chance now though. Loved watching Sharp and Heath.
  9. Matt, I love to read your verbal sparring haha. You both debate well. Others come on just to get a rise, or to throw an insult. That's what I don't like reading. If I find a thread Boeing I tend to stay away, or don't get involved. Wish others could do that. No one is forced to read or get involved in these threads. I find the comparisons with Kane really interesting. Don't necessarily think Kane is better though. Rom needs competition. If he had someone snapping at his position then we may see more aggression in his play.....same as Barkley.
  10. Then people who enjoy the thread will miss out. Do yourself a favour and don't argue with people who are obviously fishing. Get into a debate with the opposites, and the rest of us get chance to read some really interesting points and stats. Get back on it and stop slacking!
  11. Didn't think he was that bad on Saturday, quite good to be honest. He didn't light the place up, but I thought he was much better than recent weeks.
  12. Other than the arguing, this thread is actually interesting for me. Haf, great job in your analysis. That's the interesting stuff. But I don't think Matt is arguing the stats as such, but rather his reading of them. Kane is more efficient. But is this down to ability or the quality of key passes? This is the bit that cam be debated. I would guess key passes from Spurs could create more clear goalscoring opportunities. Really interesting stuff.
  13. I don't think it happened that way though. Bolasie called as he took the ball and Rom stepped aside abd ran off him, taking a player with him. Intelligent play from both.
  14. Ronny has obviously fell out with valencia, he has even less time than Mirralas.
  15. So different from last year isn't it. Players plating a different formation, pressing high. Creating chances. And we have such great attacking threat!
  16. I think you have hot it on the head Romey. He just needs to remember that football is fun, and he is actually quite good at it. A Ross special today.
  17. No ambition? Wasn't it bill that brought Moshiri in? Looks good business to me.
  18. Well done Ronny. You just lowered his value even more. Ronny got it right when he said he is a coach not a manager haha.
  19. Sounds a proper time frame for him to stamp his mark on our club. Next year will be very interesting....starting to sound like wolves haha.
  20. Why does everyone get so ate up on here? Haf has an opinion of Lukaku and puts up his reasons why. He also backs them up with facts. There are only two or free people who offer any sort of constructive posts with info back. Everyone else just comes onto this thread to fish or pretend they don't want to be here. Proof is in the pudding, it's one of the most popular threads going.
  21. Some very good goals scored there.
  22. In my opinion....No! Even the games we have won, we have struggled up until we scored a goal. Watching us at times last year, we had 15 to 20 chances a match but failed to score. At times we looked like we could demolish teams. This year we are more solid defensively, but don't seem as potent in attack. But we need to give it time. If we get one issue sorted each week it won't be long until we really do some damage to someone.
  23. Can always remember a comment from Fergie. Some players need a pat on the back and telling how great they are, while others need the sponge bucket throwing at them.
