Very good game for us. Playing one of the form teams of the season. Spurs have really cemented thier place up there and are playing some good stuff. We need to put in a performance today anything less than a point will put tremendous pressure on the manager. It's exactly what we need right now.

Err I don't know....Maybe the same way people make the opinion that he is better than Howard? From the exact same amount of matches? I agree with him. Robles is not the answer....Though I still think it's worth giving him a few games. He made a few good saves in the quarters....had a few moments where he got lucky to though. Remember him running out for a ball and then trying to run back when he realised he couldn't make it....Howard made the exact same mistake against a more alert forward.....fine lines ;-)

I hope he doesn't change it. He should try to modify it to include a more robust defence...but he should definitely stick with his attacking philosophy. I prefer watching us this season compared to last season by a mile. Even though it's frustrating at the moment. If he could improve our defence ding by 50% then we would have an entirely different look at it.

I agree, I think he wanted to voice his and teams concerns to both. Football is a team game. Billy Bremner....there's eleven captains in this team, they don't need one with an armband....that's what we need. Players that can take responsibility for thier own performances. I have never played under a manager that made me forget how to do the basics. Staying goal side isn't something that a manager needed to tell me...I learnt it at school. Getting stuck in the same. Clearing my lines when under pressure, the same. Jumping even if you can't win the header....the same. Stand up boys...show us you can be men.

Not much football and then two games in three days, ripped muscle waiting to happen Roberto jas constantly said that Mirralas has been struggling for injurys thos year...it's either true or maybe Mirralas just has massive respect for the manager and is such a polished professional that he is keeping his mouth shut rather than do what others have done plenty of in the past.....that's come out and say...no i haven't been injured.

I know. I'm just not in the opinion that he is so bad that's all. Take Newcastle for Instance, he earnt us a clean sheet...not many people mentioned it. Against Stoke he dropped a cross but pushed it away from the forward, he then picked it up....a mistake...but the kind you see pretty much every keeper make regularly. Then he makes a save that keeps us in the game...again..it's Howard so it means nothing. Then he trusts to push a cross away and misses it, keeps in a good position and thier forward hits it pretty much perfect...bur guess what.....yep you guessed it, it's our shitty goalkeeper. Yet a possible replacement was on show against us....yep that's the one, the Stoke keeper that conceded three against us. I just feel that we stopped letting so many efforts come against our keeper it may help him out a bit. He's by far not the keeper he used to be, but he's also nowhere near as bad as we make out. My issue with him is that he doesn't seem robe able to shout at his defence and get them organised. Stones is a kid. Mori is new to the premier. Coleman is about our most experienced player on the pitch at the moment. Galloway is a kid. We need Baines in the team and fit. We need Jags in the team and fit.

Yes he seems to hesitate at times and I'm not sure why. I think he could be trying to hard to be disciplined rather than play off his instincts.

Good on you captain. Nice to see a player recognising it's not down to an individual. Hope he sits down with the players and has this conversation with them...that's what a captain should be doing....be the voice of the team.

We're all starting to see that he is going to end up a deeper player. Got laughed at last year for suggesting it but if you think of his strengths...running at people, turning with the ball and keeping possession.....then he has everything needed other than discipline...which will come with experience. He is capable of spraying the ball around too...just needs the confidence.

Not sure I want to see him go. He came on against Stoke and almost scored right away. Just what we need when we're struggling to break teams down. Not that we are i suppose.

At least he recognises there is a bigger picture. Changing our goalkeeper wouldn't have changed much yesterday....Maybe the third, maybe not. But changing our defense around or having a few concentrated coaching sessions with them and getting them to work as a unit....could make a huge difference to the second half of our season.

I think we need to get Keegan in.
