  1. ....and Young off before IT happens!
  2. Going into a bit of a shell here. Need to not let Forrest gain confidence and momentum.
  3. Heart attack when he was doing that and they were about to whack a cross in!!!
  4. Forrest are so open when we come forward. Really frustrating that we don't offer more when we get to the opposition box.
  5. Go on son!!! You never see that from him! All those shite misses are forgiven!!!
  6. Oh...and Young at RB. Doucs still starting despite being absent for...too long! Hope you're all having a nice Sunday
  7. Just catching up on the posts...missed the first 5-10mins. Within the last 10mins I've swore 3 times at Gomes hospital set pieces and Mykos hospital shot...oh, and DCL being wide and putting in a horrible 'cross'. Fantastic.
  8. Luton battered at home. Burnley starting to find their way, likely too late. We must win tomorrow. If we can, and then beat Luton and Sheff Utd, we'll be sound. Yeah...we only need those 3 wins
  9. I've not read it like that, tbh. I've read that as him laying it on a plate for the players. Most years over the last 7 or so we end up with the same thing. To me, he's saying he's fighting and they can too. But he's not going to get sacked because of them, like other managers have. Now, for me, these words would carry more meaning if we hadn't been on a shit run... However, I do agree there is an air of arrogance. Like...on one hand hes saying he's responsible etc etc, on the other he's on the players regards the past. I'm a bit bored of hearing about the off field stuff (points, owners etc). I get it has an impact, but it's his job to get the results still...not then come back and say 'look how hard this is for me...' It's still a results business and that long run wasn't acceptable. Like I've said before, judgement day at the end of the season. For now, full support and limp over the line.
  10. I really hope he finds his way. Us Evertonians forever remember players who 'did it' for us. That game he came on against Palace and absolutely smashed it means he has a place in our books. If we can get him, I'm all for it. I suspect he hasn't played more because of footy politics tbh. Which I think is a terrible position for a player. Ross Barkley only has a year with Luton doesn't he? Imagine. (Even though Barkley is still a twat...)
  11. Yeah, I mean, he's come out with some bizarre stuff recently. He was doing a job most of us could get behind. Things were looking good. But 15 games is a long fuckin time!
  12. I think what Dyche needs to remember is '15 games ago...' is half a season! Almost half a season without a win is going to test the most hardened fans! Anyways, must win! Unfortunately, I expect Young to feature. And Doucs. Probs Godffrey at RB. I don't care...just get as many wins as possible over the next 6 games!
  13. But there has to be a sense of reality and context too, doesn't there? We've flirted with relegation 3 years in a row. To finish 7th next season would be a great season! If, as we've seen, the man who gets us 7th, then has a wobble for a period the next season, and gets sacked...we'll not see any progress. We were multiple league winners 40 years ago. We've won one cup in 30 years. So the 'accepting' 7th comes from being pretty shit for the vast majority of the last 30 odd years. I could walk into a room full of rich fuckers and pretend I drive a Ferrari. But at some point I have to accept the reality of where I am...(I only don't drive a Ferrari because the roads in Cumbria are shit ).
  14. I think, realistically, with 777, we can look forward to, at best, midtable mediocrity for time to come...which is better than relegation scraps! I mean, that's what we've been for most of the last 30 odd years anyway. I just hope there is a plan that involves reigniting the youth set up...I find it very hard to believe we don't develop players good enough for a bottom of the table scrap...and a young manager with a vision...that we, as fans, allow to develop for more than 12-18months.
  15. ....other than that, we should be sound
  16. In the middle with Gana picking up the scrappy bits. We need 'a Gana' in there aswell as 'a Gomes'. Onana ain't doing it. Garner is...way off boil. I think Garner has more to him...just not alongside Onana.
  17. Really need him back! Although it would sum our season up if he finally scored in a couple of games then gets injured for the rest!
  18. It's a worrying that 777 don't have the finances to take on the club. Or so it seems. More dodgy wheeling and dealing. But we're used to that this last 20 odd years.
  19. Needs to work harder...all of them... Limp through. We need to show more fight than Forrest & Luton. After a 6nil drubbing and Forrest at home next, 3 home games on the bounce, they really now need to shake this off, and any self pity, distraction around points taken off and all that, and fight fuckin hard!
  20. But he won't. If we've seen anything about Dyche during this torrid run it is that he keeps going back to the same old same.
  21. 6-0 eh. Nows not the time to argue over who's this, who's that. This team needs every single fan behind them...as painful as that is...to help them limp over the line. We shouldn't be losing 6-0 to anyone. Let alone an 'average' Chelsea. Fuck all is going to change in terms of tactics and players so we are just gonna have to rally and hope
  22. Just got home...glad I'm not watching this one and no intention of putting it on!!!
  23. “We should be on 35 points and I would be getting measured differently, myself and the team and the players and the club in spite of having a tough run." Sean Dyche insists he'll continue to work his hardest no matter what's thrown at him or Everton. He's right to be fair. Such tough and unique circumstances. He and the lads need to dig in deep. End the season well. Re-assess. Wouldn't blame him if he thought 'Fuck this, I'm off....' Don't think he's the quitting type. (Mind, don't think any managers are when they know they'll get a fat pay off if they get sacked )
  24. Yeah. I remember well all the Philip Green stuff. I remember looking into all years ago. Years before Moshiri came along. I used to save the clubs annual accounts on my laptop to look and compare There was always something not right with our finances. I think that's clear as day. What I was generally torn on was how deliberate BK was being in what was going on. I could never quite suss if it was genuine ego and control or a what's need must scenario. For me, personally, I think the last several years started make the answer clearer as each year passed.
