Haha...It seems the easier option sometimes! Didn't see any of the game, so won't insult those who did by trying to surmise anything. All I can do is look at the stats (not the be all and end all of a game I know!) and wonder what we are doing with 75% possession? I'm a massive fan of the way we play but it has to be effective. And Palace, 3 shots on target...3 goals?! Was that felt by those watching?! I thought we would do this one. Even with changes. I thought there was more than enough in that starting 11 to get 3 points. But I guess this weekend shows why the Premiership is THE No.1 league in the world....West ham 3 - Liverpool 1, Spurs 0 - WBA 1, Leicester 5 - Utd 3...and this. It's going to be another tight run for most of the season.

Scotland were a 'industrial powerhouse' during the industrial revolution. They still have strong industrial links. But it certainly isn't the powerhouse behind our economy. It's not so much about wanting, it's about how much we have achieved a lot since becoming the United Kingdom of Great Britain. But from the Scots points of view, there are to many unanswered questions. Why do you think us English lads aren't big on the Irish? They are sound. Very nice welcoming country. The posts about them being in near bust etc isn't us being arse holes, it's a true fact. They needed a $113 Billion EU/IMF bail out in 2010. Of that bail out, Britain (who the Irish left to be better off) had to stump up around $15-18 Billion. They have handled it well though, but it's been tough. They still have high unemployment of around 11% (6% UK). And the US companies 'pretending' to have their head office in another country is a blatant tax fiddle that only benefits the companies, it certainly isn't an indicator of Ireland doing just fine. If you are American, you should be pissed at this. You are basically missing out on a lot of money. It's why the major world economies are joining forces to stop these tax havens from happening.

T'How stood out tonight. Pleased for him, as he had been called into question a few times this season.

Got to be pleased with a 4-1 win tonight. Never thought that would be so. In fairness, the scoreline is a bit flattering. Wolfsburg had far too many chances for my liking. What's also pleasing is that we have Barkley, Pienaar, Oviedo, Distin missing...superb. We weren't at our best today. The best is still to come. We are still learning our way. So I said I wasn't impressed with Lukaku in the first half. And got a bit of light backlash. Well, sorry, but I was right, as it continued into the 2nd half. The difference can be seen when Eto'o came on...the difference in control, turning, passing, movement. Lukaku will learn loads from this guy. I've got mixed feelings tonight. A very good result against a good team. Yet still too many 'imperfections' in our game.
