  1. To sum up my feelings watching us for this game (other than last 10 minutes)...boring. We just lacked any creativity and 'oomph'. The most creative player on the pitch was McGeady. And I'm not sure we use him right, as in, get him involved enough to use his pace and skill to our advantage. Atsu has a lot of convincing to do. It was all a bit flat and lethargic from the team. I think we set up for a draw. With Hibbo (did ok but limited), Gibson (will get better with game time), Osman (useful but so lightweight and slow now) and Atsu (tbc) starting, 1-1 is a good result. Happy with that. Just wondering if all the player changes at the moment are having an impact on the fluency of our play. We need to move the ball from the back with more pace. Use the pacey wingers properly and allow lukaku to steamroll through the middle. Not a bad night overall.
  2. ...just watched a few on that site. For get your 4 this and that...at times we are playing 2-2-6!!! So far advanced! No wonder we've scored a good amount...and conceded even more!!!
  3. Www.statsbomb.com it is!!! You can see each players 'average' position minute by minute. And how involved they are during that minute. If you can be bothered to watch a few games, you'll see how versatile we have been. Honestly, you can't really say it's been 4-3-3 all the time, you also can't say it's been 4-2-3-1 all the time. Maybe that's part of the problem...its become too complicated and the Liverpool game was a return to basics.
  4. True. I seem a great website after the Derby that maps players positions by the minute. Will try to find it.
  5. Exactly. That's the question that ends the debate. Then again, I might be wrong. Over to Cotto! Who is this mysterious 3rd CM we have been using in this 4-3-3???
  6. The players are still united as a team. See them celebrate jags goal? Together. As one. Jags banging the badge on his chest. These players are committed to doing well for the club. And Martinez will turn this blip around. Why? Because the players have his back. See jags run to him after the goal? When the players are not only together as a team but also support their manager...its a winning ingredient.
  7. I want to find something about his touches. Sure he was better today. Been googling but can't find any site. Any ideas?
  8. Maybe. Let's see what this Millwall thing brings. Videos look a bit dodgy?!!
  9. Ha! Just saying! It's in the past now so doesn't matter. But C'mon, you must remember? You were redshite, WUM, troll...maybe this guy is the same? Just needs a bit of settling in! Then again, the name is much more suspect!!!
  10. He should get more game time after today. Some real nice touches, turns and passes on show. Good competition for Barry and McCarthy. Although playing all 3 must definitely be kept an exception rather than a rule.
  11. Millwall forever definitely a troll. Then again, many thought that Cotto was when he first joined in... turned out he wasnt. So give the bloke a chance (I think???)
  12. Yeah. The longer the game went on with him on the right the more isolated he looked. And fed up to be honest. Doesn't suit him at all. He had one blinding game out there against Arsenal last season. But that's it. His game does look like it's improving...so get him central again.
  13. Haha. I usually bounce around too. But not destroy myself or household items! My teenage stepson loves it when I'm watching Everton! Laughs all the time! My 3 year old doesn't get it yet! It's good man. I like the passion. But afterwards...shrug the shoulders and move on ASAP!!!
  14. Thought his touches were ok today. Agree with the passing though, that final ball is pretty poor today.
  15. Stones. Looked solid most of the game...nice touches, clinical interceptions, good runs. Should be in the first 11 more now. Doesn't need to prove himself anymore.
  16. Im confident that if I think someone has played below par, then it's an honest view. I have no favourites to like or dislike. Judge each game as it comes and the season as a whole. McGeady wasn't his best today. Ran into players too much. Rom was real good in first half but faded alarmingly in the 2nd.
  17. You're a lunatic. Bet it's good to watch a game with you though!!!
  18. Fuck me!!! Why we love football!!! Jags...All is forgiven! Been shite all season but what a hit! In the performance...looked like we went back to basics for this one. Real lack on intensity in attack. I couldn't see where a goal was coming from. We take too long on the ball, I've noticed it more this season than last season. I think we cautiously played for a draw today. Gave Lukaku the thumbs up in the first half. 2nd half....just got worse as the half went on. Really shouldn't be out on the right. Needs to improve his fitness and final ball. Disappointed with McGeady. He looks in great shape but not productive enough today. We missed Kev when he went off. Good to see young Browning. Looked ok. Few more games and he'll be a good steady player. Wasn't afraid of reputation anyway. Overall, a poor derby.
  19. I think the goals we have conceded this season is making us think more defensively. We have to don't we? Something has to give.
  20. I like the shouts for Eto'o to come on. He will make a difference up the middle.
  21. I thinks that's what Naismith has done a few times. He just hadn't quite got the power and pace to do it more effectively. Handy player though.
