Ha. It's all a bit daft.
It is embarrassing for the club. But I think our ceo is getting it as it's a build up of events. Something has gone wrong. Someone will be looking into what went wrong. But should someone be sacked? Not a chance, ha!
Do you guys never do anything wrong at work? The CEO doesn't get sacked every time you make a mistake. Imagine that kind of world?! Phwoar!
I'm with Cornish Steve here.
Everton have a habit of going about things nice and quiet. Publicly stating your targets is both disrespectful to the owning club and can inflate the price.
It's frustrating only because we get excited by new signings like kids at Christmas. But I like the way we do things.
Really looking forward to the 'surprises'.
This for me. Not the Haf bit. But the Bobby bit.
At the end of all the over analysis by whoever and whatever, Roberto clearly wants him. He clearly rates him and having been the man who worked with him every day for 8 months, I kind of trust what he says over what arsene wenger says in a book or what some dodgy 'goals by 21' stat says.
Erm, hang on...'gone on to be good/great players'? I get full on what you are doing, good idea, but gone that description is wrong. Ha.
Maybe gone on to 'make it' might be better...Ruddy and Mustafi for sure.
Gosling was a flop. Vaughan has done well at a lower level. Baxter did well at an even lower level. Lukas has made a name for himself but again at a lower level.
Other than Ruddy and Mustafi, no one is missed.
I know. We are patiently waiting. They will come. As you say, Martinez is back now. Time to get rolling....
I've got a funny feeling we are going to get a bit of activity over the coming days.
Good stuff.
One down, 6 to go.
Stop worrying about his age, the length of his contract, his wages, the type of boxers he wears, does he use 'just for men'....Whatever.
And Romey...cheer up man!
Ai. But why Negotiate to pay £2 million if we sign him? That is either inaccurate or a crap idea of a deal.
But yeah...We obviously agreed to it so it's a bit naughty to try and wriggle free of it. Unless there has been some wires crossed between the club's.
The McCormack thing...unfuckinbelievable!
£11m for a striker in the Championship? And 27 year old too?
I thought the Luiz deal confirmed it...but no, this defo confirms it...football has lost the plot.
There has to be a sticking point somewhere...The bloke has been off all summer!!!
I'm left feeling a bit gobsmacked that we find ourselves in a position of having to pay a club for a free agent? WTF?!
Balls to it...move on.
