Louis
I'll put two into the hat... Were you surprised to recieve the call from David Moyes to take up the assistant managerial position when you had no prior experience and were more reknown for being a talented youth coach? Long winded one now. The proposed Everton stadium requires the largest park and ride scheme in the country to be able to accomodate all home supporters, the local railway station can cope with less than 8% of stadium capacity per hour and 1,000 people are expected to cycle to the game, Kirkby residents don't want Everton on their doorstep and have created a political party to keep them out. David Moyes is also thought not to be too keen on the plans to relocate the club to a retail park in Kirkby, do you think Kirkby is the right location for Everton FC? EFCfanatic
What will it take from David Moyes and the board to take us to that next step of being on par with them accross the park and the like? How many players are we missing? Edited April 7, 2008 by EFCfanatic
evadwolrab
Preston fan here. Can you leave the interview for one or two matches so we can make sure we're *definitely* staying up please? By the way, the guy's got the golden touch. PNE fans on the whole are genuinely expecting to challenge for automatic next season - the difference he's made in such a short time, without the luxury of a pre-season, has been phenomenal; the players had lost everything from the mental side of their game and he's bringing it all back slowly but surely. In fact, if you don't mind, I have a question: Is the weight of expectation about next season from Preston fans likely to be an issue, or do you relish this sort of situation? Is it more difficult to handle when there is pressure from fans (be it positive or negative pressure) as the manager, rather than as assistant? Everton_Worshiper
What did you think about the whole Rooney transfer saga? (I know this one won't get answered if asked as there are liable implications...) Did you have much influence over team selection/tactics at Everton? Do you think Moyes will stay at Everton with no injection of money to take Everton into the top 4? Do you think Everton have a thing for bald players? Do you think modern football boots are causing the infamous "metatarsal" injuries or pace/tempo of the modern game? i.e Cahill's latest injury. c1982
What's Moysie playing at with the Pienaar deal? What was it like managing Big Dunc in your time together at EFC? Are you a future EFC manager in the making?

EFCfanatic
Would you like to become manager in future? Whats your predictions for us next season regarding all the cups and the league? Will we finally get some silverware? How important are the fans and the following the team gets to the players and club? Looking back, would you change anything you did during your time at the People's Club? Do you believe that the Merseyside derby has become too fierce in the past few seasons or does the intense rivalry give the match an extra edge? ...and breathe. MikeO
You played your last game for Everton exactly a month before the start of the most glorious chapter in the club's history. Are the two events connected ? Perhaps not Louis, try this one. I don't (to my shame) remember the circumstances of you leaving as a player, but it was a month before the cup final that triggered the most successful period in the clubs history. Having played such a big part that season (thirty-five starts including the legendary Oxford game) was it hard to watch your former team-mates become the best team in the country while you played at a lower level with Palace? And also, would any current players have challenged for a place in the '84 team?
Everton_Worshiper
Did you and the players comment on Moyes' apparent ginger head of hair? If you could pick one current Everton 1st team player to join Preston, who would it be & why? Was there any truth behind the players apparently objecting to Everton bidding for jailbird Barton? (If so, shows we have a good mentality in the dressing room) Have you pinched any stationary from Everton and taken it to Preston? Do you think Yakubu is in his mid 20's? gwladys
What was the biggest most audacious move for a player that you and Davey made/planned that us fans didn't hear about? What is your opinion of the proposed move to Kirkby? What does Moyes really think about it? Do you think Andy Van Der Meyde will ever get back to playing football regularly? Is he passed playing for a top team in a major league? Who was the hardest working member of the squad during training sessions? Who put in the extra mile?
