jamiemaher85
please tell me why its great news he's shit, tony hibberts better. I'm not Neville's biggest fan but he is a far better player than Hibbert, he brings more to the squad then Tony does.
Josh Berno
Hibbert is just poo end of. He should only get a game when we play City an petrovs on left mid. Neville is are captain an although hes not our best player he still brings something to our team.
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z
captain fantastic to the rescue.... this makes me feel so better about being about the lack of signings in our pathetic sized squad
barryj
nah neville will be released for free and lescott will be made captain You got that one really wrong ANT#1!!!!
MikeO
Thought we only gave one year extensions to players over thirty? He's saying all the right things though, not the best player ever to wear the shirt but a good captain and a good bloke to have around I think. StevO
great inspiration to all the kids. look at Phillip Neville, multi millionaire, had a great career, plenty of England caps, League winner on many occassions, plenty of FA Cup medals, A European Cup winner, see kids, all that, and we actually wasnt that good! for the neville lovers, that is a joke by the way, i actually like the guy. rubecula
He is not my favourite player, but he says he loves the team and is pleased to sign again. I wish that kind of loyalty was contagious. I am glad he is around. He may not be great on the pitch, but he is good to have around.
JohnDTraynor
This is brilliant news. It really shows that the club are going forward. All the talk is about new signings, but a long-term contract for Neville is like a new signing; in fact, it's like several new signings at once because of Phil's versatility. He can play as adequately in one position as he can in another. It's better than buying four new players. I'm delighted. When Carsley left I feared a little for the team's success next season, but I'm over that now. In other news, Kerry Katona is to reform Atomic Kitten, on her own. This should balance out the bad news that Carol Voderman has left Countdown.

(Although missing out the fact that Liz McLarnon won "Celebrity Masterchef" was a bit of an oversight )
