A few more bits of information regarding CSKA director general saying they are not in negotiations to sell or loan out Wagner Love to Everton.

Along with Marseille insisting that Cana is worth £20m, effectively killing any potential move, this is getting very disconcerting. I'd even take Smith right now.

Wrong. Read the article, it only mentions there are no negotiations to loan Love to us. There is no mention of the president denying negotiations of a permanent transfer.

CSKA Moscow have dismissed claims they have agreed to loan striker Vagner Love to Everton.

The Toffees have been very strongly linked with a move for the Brazilian international and sources in England claimed a deal was almost done.

However, CSKA director general Roman Babaev insists nothing has been agred.

"It isn't true that we have loaned Vagner Love to Everton," Babaev told Sport.

"There are no negotiations about that."

Everton have yet to make a major move into the transfer market this summer and manager David Moyes has admitted he would have liked new faces in before now.

Moyes has just sold Andy Johnson to Fulham for more than £10million and needs another striker but it remains to be seen whether Love will be on his way to Goodison.

I must be missing something....?

normally the Everton site will confirm if we've agreed a fee or someone is flying in to sign so I can only assume that he certainly hasn't signed on loan. I'm getting a little concerned now, but if the Echo says we should be signing him within 48 hours then there must be something in it at least. Please...!

This doesn't look good, and i when I posted this story last night I was really begining to despair, the pienaar story hardly helped matters, but their chairman has said things like this before, for example he had publically said Jo wouldn't be sold. Then lo and behold 1 week later he was City bound.

TBH i can't see us getting him on loan. It just would not make sense for a club to sell there best striker and then loan out there second best striker. Whether or not we go in for him on a permanant basis remains to be seen. I just want some resolution to this whole shit heap of a summer.

I would believe the sky sports article over the one claiming its already done for a loan. Would admit he isnt my favourite player and JO was definately the better of the two but now we have lost AJ and his pace I am starting to think this would be a good signing (on a loan) and see how the boy does.

Lets be honest here we arent setting the world alight with our signings and all the big name players we have been linked with havent come off so this boy would be something of a coup as in last 2 years he has been linked with some of europes biggest clubs ie fiorentina, inter milan, valencia etc

Only 5 days till start of season and I am struggling to see our first XI winning points for the first few games, and we have an easy first few games!!!

But still I trust in moyes to get it right, COYB'S!!!!!!

Haha his Wiki has been updated again

He has recently been linked with a move to Everton in the English premier league it was rumoured that the deal would begin with loan of a year to the premier league side with Everton having the option of making the deal permanent for £15 million after the season ended. on 12th August Vagner quit football to pursue a career in porn.

Leaked Pornographic Video

A video of Vágner Love and Brazilian porn actress Pamela Butt was leaked on the internet. Butt said: 'I'm very well paid to have sex on camera, but I earned nothing for this. I am two people: Pamela the actress and Pamela the private lady, and today the private lady is defiled.'.

Vágner Love wasn't too concerned, he said: 'Hey, I'm known for being amorous, let's be honest: this reputation isn't one that unsettles me.

I'd happily do it.

Can't be any worse than the incumbent transfer negotiator could I?!

I'd certainly not start with the opening gambit of "How would you like to come and play for the best manager in th Premiership" that is rumoured to have been the downfall in not signing players in previous seasons.

no reason we shouldn't have got this guy, unless it's his salary, but moyes has to be realistic that signing players nowadays means what you pay out annually is gonna increase exponentially (sp? fuck it im hungover <_< )

vagner and the yak could make a good partnership and it would at the least give us more options up front. cant help but think this is all wayne rooneys fault....

4 players snubbing us in 2 days makes you wonder what people are saying in the negotiations and whether they should be replaced for someone who has a clue?!?!?!

Maybee someone is missing ??

Wyness ? say what yah like but he was allways at the head of us smashing our transfer record

People underestimated the effect of him leaving

I'm in no doubt Vagner Love could make an impact on the E.P.L. If Santa Cruz & Berbatov can take this league by storm then so can Love. As the great John Lennon once said "love is all you need."

I don't mind much who we sign now mamma m'bia, Joao, Smudge, or Love as long as we sign someone before the start of the season to give the fans something to cheer about.

Mirror is claiming the deal has fallen completly through, apparently Love's agents "misled him". Don't realy know what that entails but the scary thing is that the article states that this now re-opens the door for Alan Smith. Bit of a step down, a player who scores 1 in every 2 games or a player who scores 1 in every 2 season, i know who i'd choose. The only bonus is that he didn't score last season, so this is the year!
